The medium sized freezer bags are great, the shipping is not. The box shipped in one of those cheap bubble envelopes and looked like it was used as a football. The box holding the freezer bags is completely destroyed almost.
Again the product it self the freezer bags are on par or better then the leading brands.

Very impressed with these bags for the price . I’ll definitely order a couple more to stick with my long term food storage . The box they come in is extremely flimsy and you’ll want to reinforce the corners with the few pieces of tape

Normally, the Amazon products compare well to brand names. Not this time though. I took a chance on these as it was a good price for the amount. However, these are only Storage bag thickness. I was very disappointed in the quality as a freezer bag. I didn’t bother to return the open box and cause product waste. So, I will use them as simple Storage bags instead. I’ll be going back to the Hefty brand for freezer bags.

I was hopeful that I had found a cheaper freezer bag option, since we freeze a lot of food. These let me down. I wouldn’t rate them as sandwich bag quality, but they aren’t freezer bag quality either. So lets call them middle of the road storage bags.
These bags are equivalent to medium bags from other brands.
Pros
* Fairly cheap compared to other options.
* Bag zippers seem to work okay.
Cons
* Not thick enough to compare with other freezer bags.

Gosh, I know we experienced a toilet paper shortage due to COVID, but for some reason, my local ‘big-box’ store can’t keep gallon size freezer bags stocked either! I’ve been buying them at the regular grocery store where I shop weekly but they’re expensive. (I had been buying them at the big box store, along with some other items that are far cheaper there than the grocery store) This week, I checked the ‘big box’ store to no avail. And when I grocery shopped at the regular grocery store, I forgot to buy a box. Realized it on my drive home. As soon as I got home, I logged into my Prime account, searched for gallon size freezer bags and found the Solimo brand bags. I have other Solimo products that are just as good as name brand. And after seeing all of the excellent reviews, I placed my order for a 90 count box of Solimo 1 gallon size , double zipper freezer bags. I had some grocery items in the fridge, waiting to put into the freezer bags upon their arrival. The box arrived today. In case this matters to anyone, the cardboard box the bags come in is nice and sturdy. I keep my bags in the box for use but sometimes, depending on the brand I buy, the cardboard box is cheap and flimsy and breaks easily and quickly. Not this box. Its nice and sturdy and isn’t going collapse or break. I love that the Solimo bags have an area to write the bag’s contents. My current name brand bag did as well but the Solimo has a label to write the date AND the content of the bag. The name brand bag only had a blank spot for writing. This will make identifying what’s in the bag and WHEN it was placed in the bag much easier for me. All 90 bags have a double zipper closure to ensure the bagged item won’t get freezer burned and will stay fresher, longer. Glad Solimo offers the double zipper as an option. I tend to yank the slider off of the freezer bags that close using sliders all the time, so the bags go to waste.
The Solimo bags are durable and hold a good amount of food. Ice/freezer burn isn’t going to get into these bags! These work just as well as name brand and actually have some features that I prefer over the name brand bags! The price is more than reasonable. This box of 90 bags is going to last us a LONG time. These are definitely recommended! They work great!

I purchased these to fill them with 5 lbs of raw meat and bones for my dogs raw food diet. I bought the standard ziplock bags and those ripped a lot along the seams while I was filling them. These didn’t. They actually hold up nice in the freezer. And they are cheap enough to throw away. Nothing worse than washing out bags filled with raw protein and trying to reuse them. It never works out well. One day I will find reusable plastic containers that will do the job, but for right now these bags work wonders for my tiny freezer.

product is very sturdy. only complaint was the box was broken (glue let go I guess) so its hard to keep all these bags somewhat organized. Still worth it.

Depuis 1 mois j’utilise ces sacs de la même façon que j’utilise l’autre marque. Ça fait la job mais oubliez les textures liquides et surtout les soupes. Jusqu’à maintenant j’en ai utilisé au minimum une 30 aine (j’habite seule alors quand je cuisine j’en congèle pour ne pas avoir à en manger toute la semaine Lol! Et je divise mes paquets de viande avant de congeler) .
Jusqu’à maintenant une dizaine ont soit; coulé d’un coin du bas du sac ou le coin entre le sac et la bande de fermeture et 2 se sont ouvert dans mon congélateur :(.
Je n’ai jamais eu aucun de ces problèmes avant.
Alors je vais les garder pour des choses solides sans sauce ect … en espérant que ça aille.

These are good – not as good as the brand name. My review doesn’t consider price (because that’s up to you), so I’m leaving value out of this review. On quality it is good. It’s thinner than the name brand freezer bags, but not by much and the seals have one zipper, not two. You also can’t feel the zip as easily. Some bags break at the seams.

Bought both regular and freezer-weight zip-close storage bags. The Solimo products were very high quality and perhaps better than the famous Z.L. brand. Good stuff, would buy more in the line… but what’s up with that name?

Amazon tried something interesting here: selling a product with no photo of the product in the listing. YOLO: I bought it anyways.
They’re about what you’d expect – a quart size bag with durable plastic double press-seal zippers. No slide-zip here, just the basics.
The box has an excellent dispensing cut-out. The blue they use for the zipper is lovely. The area to write on is fine. So, it totally nails the generic need.
The only reason I don’t give it the full five stars is because the value proposition here isn’t exactly earth-shattering. The price is marginally better than
equivalent, but nicer Ziploc bags
at the Big Box Store – so if you need them tomorrow, go for it; otherwise, just wait for your next shopping trip.

I wanted to keep using these bags for meal preparation, however it have a plastic smell that I didn’t comfortable to use it for food.

I received my bags today and was so excited. I had also purchased Ziploc (which is my brand I have used for years). So when I saw Amazon had their own brand, took a chance and purchasded their gallon Freezer bag. Well, I worked late tonight. Since I only had a few items that were shipped in this big box, I thought ok, I will just carry the items out to the car. I get to the car and the box give way on one end. They all come sliding out. I catch them against the car and put them back in the box. I drive home for 40 minutes take them out along with my Ziploc (by the way are sealed in a nice wrap a double pack) the entire box give way and I have a driveway litered with Freezer bags. So here I am at 11:pm picking up Freezer bags off my drive way. To say I have so much trouble getting the bags in the house, I don’t want to use them. But I won’t waste them. I will never buy them again, it doesn’t matter how good the bags are. Amazon pick a better company to put your brand on. You are a company I have trusted for years. So now I need to find a container. To say I am whining yes I am.
