I hate buying paper products for the house but toilet paper is such a hassle. I like it not to be individually wrapped, large rolls and the bonus of having less lint fly off and dirty my bathroom is nice. And the toilet paper is nice and think too. Delivery to my door checks off another bonus.

During the TP time, I bought these because they were the only TP available then and I have to say, they are incredible! Super soft, super durable and I like the extra large roll size. Would recommend and buy again.

I’ve tried soo many toilet papers, and up until this one, Charmin Ultra Strong was the only one that I used. That type of Charmin is soft, strong, no lint, and totally white with no dark bits mixed in. But this Presto tp has all of those features plus a few more. The Charmin rolls had a fair amount of glue on the first sheets which made it harder to unstick from the rest of the roll, but no such issue on the Presto. Also, the Charmin carboard center tubes would often come not perfectly round, so I would have to squish them a bit in order to get them to hang nicely on the tp holder. Not a big issue of course, but the prestos have been much more round from the start, so it’s just a little bonus. The sheet sizes of both brands are very similar, but the Presto is a tiny bit bigger. Both types are very comparable toilet papers, but I give the edge to Presto.
—Update to original review:
The last 2 boxes I’ve received have had cardboard center tubes that are not round like they were with the first box. Just in case anyone cares.

Ugh, this stuff is AWFUL. Practically disintegrates into rolled-up shreds of paper shrapnel. Do yourself a favor: spend the extra $0.71 and just buy Charmin Ultra Strong.

This toilet paper is deceiving! I had to get used to grabbing a lot less squares than our old toilet paper. It’s nice and soft while being strong but is a little linty.
Only downside – the super big rolls don’t fit into our toilet paper holder!

This product is not worth the savings. It’s very thin and immediately disintegrates on contact with liquid. I don’t understand the positive reviews. I love Amazon, but they struckout on this one.

Update: So in my original review I said we weren’t picky about our toilet paper. Well we are now. We must have had a busy month because we ran out of the Presto! So my husband bought Charmin Ultra Strong. I don’t think I’ve ever been so sad about having to use a certain kind of toilet paper. I didn’t realize how think the sheets of Pretso! were until we had to use the paper thin Charmin. It’s safe to say we are obsessed with the Presto!
I read most of the reviews and questions before adding to my Subscribe and Save orders. Was a little leery because it’s only $20 for 24 rolls but I thought why not what can it hurt. Our household isn’t to picky about toilet paper. We just want it to be soft and hold up while using it. I saw all the pictures of the size of Presto but was still surprised how large the rolls are when I opened the package. In the picture Presto is on the left and Cottonelle is on the right. So far I haven’t seen any dusting from Presto. Normally I find a lot in the packaging but there was very minimal dusting. So far we are extremely happy with it and will stay subscribed to it.

Going to compare this to Charmin Ultra Soft as it’s the one I’ve been using those regularly before trying out this product.
Charmin is half a inch wider, but Presto has a larger roll
Presto is slightly thicker and better tear resistance. You will not notice a huge difference unless you compare them side-by-side, like how some people can’t tell the difference between 720p and 1080p HD displays. When compared to public toilet paper, it’s a night-and-day difference.
Both have the same amount of softness. Both are soft, but i’d say Charmin is a bit silkier and fingers flow across it smoother, while the Presto is still soft, but slightly more durable.
I’d say if you tend to have moist or wet feces (maybe due to diarrhea?) I’d say Charmin does a better job, but for more dry droppings Presto is the way to go
Overall, high quality toilet paper. Will i be switching over? Depends on which one goes on sale or able to get at a cheaper price.

I’ll admit I put in a bulk order for this toilet paper almost completely by accident a week before the pandemic hit in March 2020. I found it laughable that I had so much toilet paper, and less than a week after it arrived, the TP Shortage of 2020 began raging. I was so glad I had this, and it was high quality. Strong, absorbent, and I find you need fewer sheets per use to get the job done because of the absorbency. As the TP Shortage let up, I waited for it to come back in stock, but it’s never been seen again. The Ultra Soft doesn’t compare. BRING BACK PRESTO ULTRA STRONG!

Imagine if you will, an exclusive “club” where main benefit is the privilege of spending your Saturdays navigating through hoards of oversized SUVs in a crowded parking lot, then negotiating battleship-sized shopping carts up and down runway-sized aisles, and then having to stand in one of 50 ultra-long lines in order to spend several hundred dollars. The prize at the end of this ordeal is a $1.50 rancid meat hotdog with carbonated syrup water at a filthy picnic table, elbow-to-elbow with the same lummox that earlier parked his cart sideways across an entrance to an aisle in order to patiently wait for a booger-sized sample of Cheez Whiz on 1/16th of a soda cracker. Don’t forget to wait in line to have an employee lightly glance at your receipt and imprint it with their Sharpie.
Now imagine that this “club” recently increased their membership dues.
So when it came time for our family to renew our dues, we questioned the value we were getting…Pretty much the only reason we shopped there was for non-perishables, since any of the food we’d purchase there would expire before we’d had a chance to eat it all, contributing to the growing food waste epidemic on our country.
For what its worth, the club’s $18 warehouse pallet of Toilet Paper was good quality at a great price. You can certainly buy more than you need, it won’t go to waste.
I think that Amazon’s Presto is the answer to that, the Ultra Strong is soft, durable, and doesn’t leave bits behind on your behind. The rolls are large, so changing them out is less frequent. We buy it on Subscribe and Save for the discount, though dollar-for-dollar we’re still getting about 5000 less sheets than the club’s version…
But all of that is worth it, because now we have our Saturdays back.
