Mever ever will go away from M1 macs. This is the ultimate dream machine you can own. Super fast, ultra quite and more than capable to handle any task. Intel based macs are nowere near to compare with this beast.

I had the first Retina display MacBook Pro since 2012, which had been a phenomenal laptop. I was debating the past couple years to upgrade and almost pulled the trigger on the prior 16” from last year. I sure am glad I waited! This new 16” with the M1 Max is unbelievable! It chews through anything and everything I throw at it, and the battery life is fantastic, especially considering the power this thing has. They are pricey, no doubt, and the notch is controversial, but if it’s in your price range you definitely will not be disappointed!

I am so thrilled I was able to get this through Best Buy! I saw ‘add to cart’ available and jumped immediately to purchase. The laptop arrived yesterday and I opened the box this morning. Wow, the computer is huge and bulky! This version reminds me of the 21″ heavyweight I had awhile ago. The screen is massive and the black keys are soft and easy to type. I am looking forward to watching movies on this. If this becomes available and you have the money, go for it! This is a long term investment for me since I work from home. I loved my previous MacBook Pro and now going to enjoy this major upgrade.

Waited for long time for it. Waited for the mini-led, waited for the high-performance ARM chip especially for graphics. And all of these came true this year. Though didn’t expect the unwanted notch.
The performance is really good! No more media optimization is needed to smoothly playback the 4k video or even 8K video during editing in Davinci Resolve or FCPX. Also tested on playing dota2, amazingly, with the highest picture quality, it steadily run on 60FPS and the fans are barely running!!
As for appearance! Tool should be the tool!
I do like the screen, and no word is needed here for the amazing XDR screen!
Pro:
– Very high performance that could compare with rtx 3080 while maintaining a very low power consumption.
– Good battery life speaking to the given performance.
– Very good screen with mini-led tech.
– Very good sound quality.
– Good webcam quality, but give a notch.
Cons:
– The apperance just got a little bit ugly than previous gen, but it’s definitely ok
– The notch!! (Would be hidden during full screen mode)
– The M1 Max would be threshold after a while heavy duty. And overall M1 Max is only 40~60% more performance than M1 Pro, which is a little bit less than expected.
– HDMI is only 2.0
Overall, if with budget, m1 pro 16 ram is highly recommended, but if you have the extra budget, go for m1 max, and you won’t regret it.

While expensive, this is easily the best laptop I’ve ever owned. It’s fast, quiet, the speakers sound good, and the screen looks amazing. I use it for software development, video editing, and photo editing. Handles the 61MP photos my camera produces, and my 4K 10-Bit video files with ease.

One bad machine in a good way. So happy I decided to buy this laptop. Battery life is no joke, I run Abobe products all open with tons of processing and it just crushes it. This has replaced my desktop so it needs to be powerful. Happy I went with the 16” bigger screen too. I had no issues with sliding it into my computer page to travel with. I purchased an external monitor that powers the laptop with a usbc cable which means on less cord on my desk.

Amazing MacBook Pro max!!! I needed a newer Mac for my photography business and this laptop runs through my 45mg photos like butter. I shoot a ton of photos for real estate and have to combine 3- 5 phots into HDR and then edit the final images. This proces used to take almost 2 hours to combine over 25 final images on my older MacBook Pro. Now this process takes 17min. Unreal. Best Buy purchase was a great and seem less experience. Love being able to see and feel the product before making my purchase.
