I really like the picture, the remote layout is nice, can’t comment on the sound as I use it with a surround sound, but my biggest issue is that the specifications say that is comes with 16GB of internal storage, but we are left with about 4GB when you look in the settings. Now I understand that some of that will be used up for the operating system, but after installing all my apps we use, I’m already running out. I was running to the same issue on my Goggle Chromecast with Google TV, which has only 8GB of storage, and the too, has 4GB available to the user. So where is the other 8GB that should be available, as they are basically the same operating system. Online, I see several users complain of the same thing on other Sony TV’s. I added USB storage, formatted it to be use as internal storage, but it won’t let any apps migrate over either. I specifically bought this over another TV, based off the 16GB of storage, but it must be a marketing thing.

Finally settled after trying at least 5 Led/Oleds the past 4-5 years. I’m coming from one of the most excellent tv pictures ever produced in the Pioneer Elite FD-141 plasma which is an 2008 model and still has a excellent pic. Recently returned a LG C2 Oled, and also a Sony A80J Oled, which both had great pics but I decided I didn’t want to spend the extra money on top of purchasing the geek squad 5 year coverage. Before returning the Sony A80J Oled I thought I’d give an Led a shot. Picked up the X80K 65” and was very pleased with the picture. Plasmas and Oleds are known to have great off angle views if you’re sitting off to the side, which is important to me as my living room is narrow and long. The X80K has a great picture straight on, and surprisingly has a pretty good picture off to the side. So it was a no brainer for me to buy the X80K with the 5 year protection plan for a lot less than what one of the Oleds would have cost me. Most of my tv watching is cable, Spectrum, streaming content, mostly YouTube, and also use a 4K Blue Ray. Sound is fairly good from the tv, but I use a home theatre receiver. I like the remote as it is smaller than the previous year model, another selling point, which connects to my home theater receiver, awesome. So I don’t have to use 3 different remotes if I don’t want to. I included some pics of the Sony. Straight in front, off to the side. Almost 2 months later I’m happy with my choice.

Great picture, excellent crispness & color without garrishness. Self-calibrating sound is reasonably easy to set up. Wish the remote was easier to see & distinguish in low light conditions. Would like more apps available. Excellent reliability, so far. Would get another one.

Excellent entry level Sony TV. Yes, it is more expensive than other brands but the quality of this product is outstanding. I have 3 Sony TV’s. 1 is from 12+ years ago (40”), 1 is from 4 years ago (75”) and this one (65”) which I bought couple of weeks ago. All 3 TV’s still work like brand new. Anyways, best parts of this TV are – (1) Colors are perfect – no tweaking necessary, they are perfect for me out of box (2) Motion is superb. No jittering or lag (3) I cannot comment on the sound as i have connected to Bose Home theater system. Bose does its work and no match for it (4) TV remote is small and cute. I wish it had backlighting but can’t ask a lot for entry level TV (5) Android OS – super fast. Bad- Screen surface is very reflective. So, if you are in a bright room – this TV is not for you. Overall great TV, I highly recommend it
