The Buffer Foundation Brush

I can finally write a review after 7 yrs of using this brush. 1) I used it about 25 times a year, or about 175 uses total. 2) I clean all my brushes about once a year, but clean them very well, or about 7 cleanings total. This brush is soft. This brush smooths the product on your face. I also have cheap store brand brushes that do the same thing. This brush absorbs so much foundation that nost definitely more of it ends up on/in the brush than your face (wasted product). This brush costs 3-6x as much as store brand brushes (depending on the foundation brush you choose). This brush started shedding badly about 6 months ago and just fell apart during its 7th cleaning. And I was particularly careful with this brush because it was my “best” brush. Because of the construction of it it was impossible to put back into the handle. I was surprised to find the brush/hairs were simply glued in to the top of the handle, so when they came out, they just spread/separated out top to bottom and there was no way to get them back in. And yet, my store brand brushes in the same length of time are still going strong. If the top falls off of the store brand you can glue it back on the handle. I’ve never had the actual bristle assembly come out. You would think a brush of this calibre would be constucted better. Yes, I got 7 yrs out of it, but someone who does their makeup every day and cleans the brush regularly would not. Not worth the price tag, even over 7 yrs.

I tried this based on reviews & so far, it’s been love at first try! It’s so soft and perfect! Glad I read up on it.
