After a few months of use it leaked!! I loved it up until now, as it never leaked. Well one bed accident and my brand new bed has a urine stain! I was hoping it would be a one time thing, well it’s not. Over a the past few months, there’s been a few pee accidents on my bed from my young child…and my king mattress is disgusting. I’m so incredibly disappointed!! Do NOT buy!!!
I’m going to call Amazon and see how this situation is handled as the product is not as promised.

The top feels like a towel. I wouldn’t sleep on it directly it is not that nice on the skin. The sides are elastic. I thought that the cover would go all around the mattress and cover it completely. But it is like a regular bed cover.I have a Queen mattress, but I bought a king sized cover for the mattress Im going to buy. It is clearly too big for my mattress but will be good for a king one.

Do not buy, cheap product. Will leak after very few washes, as the waterproof method is like those 80s raincoats. The good ones use water repellent fabric layer, not this cheap rubbery material.
Also, only the top is waterproof, not the sides. Super not useful if you have a nice fosmam mattress that you don’t want any liquid on.
I got it as a backup for the 1 day where my good one from bed and bath is drying… so it’ll suffice for now. If it weren’t covid, and so darn hard to fold up again, I would return this.

I bought this & verified it was a King Size on the packaging. Washed it for first use. It was really tight to put on our king bed. Went to wash it for a 2nd time after use and looked at the label to review wash instructions. Noticed it was marked “Full” size on the label. Couldn’t believe it. Returning product since it’s the wrong size so watch out. It concerns me how that could even happen. Right packaging, wrong product inside. I really hope we didn’t get a used repackaged one. It looked new when we first opened it.

My wife went into labor a year and a half ago and that labor went very quickly….so quickly that she ended up giving birth on our bed in the presence of EMTs. We then went to the hospital where I stayed overnight with my wife and new baby girl. The next day, once things had clamed down, I went home to clean up before they came home. For those who have witnessed or gone through child birth, you know what a mess I arrived to. For those who haven’t, suffice to say there are many different types of fluids and a lot of them. Let’s just say I was fully expecting to be purchasing a new mattress. To my amazement, once I’d bagged our sheets and this mattress pad, our mattress was perfectly fine. I bought another one immediately and will continue to use this brand as long as it exists. I challenge anyone to put it through a more rigorous test and I’m positive it can stand up to some sweat or your child’s pee in the middle of the night. I could have posted a pic but it’s better for everyone if I don’t.

I love these mattress protectors! They really work! I started using them when I had my son and I never had to worry about my mattress getting wet. I’m talking spilled bottles, a diaper not being as absorbent as one would hope, a full glass of tea accidently spilled on the bed.

I took the sheets and this mattress protector off the bed and my mattress was completely and totally dry! Yes!!!
For washing, wash on delicate cycle, no fabric softener and definitely dry on either air dry or low. I made the mistake one time of drying with towels on high – did not turn out well. My fault, so I can’t blame the manufacturer. So, I just bought a new one.
My advice, if you’re potty training, get 2 of these. That way if your little one has an accident, you can take the wet one that’s on the bed off and put a nice clean and dry new one on the bed… just in case it’s a 2 accident night 😉
And… no worries about feeling like you’re sleeping on plastic grocery store bags. It’s very quiet. I only noticed the sound of it the first night or two and I would imagine it just got broke in and then no more noise. Let it air out for a day before putting it on your bed to get rid of any plastic smell (I sprayed mine with f e b r e e z e).

I bought this because my cat peed on my old mattress pad to the point where I had to throw it away. I also bought this because I tend to get messy if you know what I mean and towels do not get the job done fully. I’m writing this review because recently I had a dream where i was on the toilet and started peeing in my dream only to realize I was also peeing in real life lol. I hope I’m not the only one who’s experienced this before. The mattress protector worked really well to absorb the pee. Absolutely no damage to my mattress, didn’t smell much at all, and dried relatively quickly. You would think with that much liquid some of it would soak through but nothing soaked through at all. I’m still a little hesitant to see what happens if a bunch of liquid gets on it but I am definitely confident enough for what it is.

It did really well with a large liquid spill. When I removed the cover my mattress was completely dry. Cleaning was easy in the washing machine. The tumble dry low instructions didn’t completely dry it, but I put it on high for around 15 minutes at the end with the rest of my laundry and it was fine. I would recommend.

Good product, although not as good as Utopia’s product. Bought one of each to compare and found out that although this one is much more expensive(30%), it is much cheaper quality…
Still better value than the local store one and thus the 4 star.

It arrived on time packed well. It has a real nice soft terry cloth layer so no hot plastic feeling on your body and no sweats from normal plastic ones. Fits my 12 inch Queen hybrid mattress (coils and memory foam) perfectly. Would recommend and I plan on purchasing this again when I get another mattress.

So we’ve had this mattress protector for almost 2 years now with a potty training 1-2 year old. It has been great. I like that it’s soft so you don’t feel like you’re sleeping on plastic and it has deep corners so it doesn’t come off. We have washed it probably on average like twice a week since we bought it so it’s had A LOT of wash and dries. Last night it finally happened, my sons pee leaked through some but still the mattress didn’t get soaked, it was just damp in a small area which is still better than it would have been without it, as he had peed a lot. I still gave five stars because I feel like this is normal with the amount of wear and tear we’ve put it through. I paid $35 for it and we definitely got our monies worth.

I purchased this for my toddler’s bed as we started night time potty training, and I’m very pleased with its quality and performance. It does not make the crinkly noise common to a lot of mattress protectors, and after several accidents and washes, it has held up perfectly—no urine leaks whatsoever. It also doesn’t appear to make the bed hot, though I haven’t slept on it myself to know for sure, and it dries fairly quickly compared to a lot of other mattress protectors. Overall I’d highly recommend buying one (or two), especially for potty training.

Our very old, sweet cat left a flood of urine on the sheet on my husband’s side of the bed this morning. We could not understand why he did this until we took a look at our cat box. It is an enclosed type with an entry/exit hole. A family member accidentally blocked the entrance to our enclosed cat box after having brought some Amazon boxes in last night. Oops! The mattress protector blocked the urine from getting through to our fairly new mattress! I am going to throw away the yukky mattress pad and buy a new one. I am now giving my sheets the washing in detergent, rinsing in Tide and then doing a second cycle washing and with a whole bottle of lemon juice in the wash water! But this mattress pad saved the day!!!!!!!!!!!!
