I heated the cap to try it out. As I was walking to my chair, I noticed the pain in my hand holding the cap felt much better. I have arthritis in my hands. The picture doesn’t show it, but the cap is heavy like neoprin so the weight, heat, and flexibility were perfect for “soaking” warmth into my hands. Then I heated it again and pushed it up my forearm where fibromyalgia was hurting. Same relief. (It also works for headaches & aching eyes from too much blue light, as advertised.) I’m thinking of buying a second cap so I can use them in multiple ways. This has been a great surprise.

This hat applies the PERFECT amount of pressure to all the perfect spots for a headache, my wife has not used it on one of her horrible migraines yet cause she’s had a nice break from them but she loves it for headaches it’s wonderful but keep it in the bag forsure but love this so far!!!!

This is the best thing ever made! Even better than sliced bread! I suffer from severe debilitating migraines. I have failed every prescription med on the market and currently get Botox and infusions. This lovely covering is worth it’s weight in gold. Some days it has even stopped the migraine and even lessened the severity. It provides a gentle pressure and weight from the cooling gel inside that’s distributed evenly throughout the whole hat. It’s not a lot of pressure or weight but just a little. You can either pull your hair through the top and slide it down onto your head so it get closer to the skin or you can slide it over the hair and create a sort of subtle barrier. The mask allows for your nose and mouth to stick out which is perfect, you can get lots of airflow. It slides over your eyes to block out all light 💡 and over your ears 👂 to block out all sound which really helps cut the pain down. I recommend this for nightly use… then you don’t get startled by the lights in the morning 🤣. You really should have two so you always have one in the freezer and if you plan on getting one for heat use get one in a separate color just for that purpose. These would make excellent gifts!

I’ve had the more expensive name brand one in my wish list for months now but couldn’t bring myself to pay the price for one that equaled 2 of these. I’m so glad I held off. I get chronic migraines and cold eases the pain at times. I put one of these guys on and it was instant relief. A couple of days later I didn’t have a headache but decided to see how it was just to go to bed with it. Best sleep ever. Fell asleep quicker than I ever have, didn’t wake up once and woke up with no pain. Now I keep one at work and sleep with one ever night.

I just happened to have a very bad migraine today (I’ve had debilitating chronic migraines since 1994) and this just got this delivered so I put it in the freezer to try out. After about an hour or so in there, I popped in on my head. The cooling comfort was almost instant. The “compression” is comfortable, not too tight at all. I actually measured my head before ordering and was right on the cusp of needing a large but I bought the medium because it could also double as a nice sleep mask and I wouldn’t want it to come off during the night.
I really like that you can pull it down over most of your face (good for sinus headache sufferers, too!) and the back of it hits the top of my neck where my headaches usually start. It’s cool all around and feels amazing to be honest. Love that it’s hands free and not hard, and cumbersome like an ice pack usually is. You can also heat it and use it as a heating pad.
It has an opening at the very top if ladies want to put their hair through it. I didn’t really buy it for that added feature since a high ponytail usually gives me a headache, so I probably won’t use that. The top opening doesn’t affect the comfort or fit at all.
Worth the price, to me, hands down. Will recommend to my other headache/migraine suffering friends.

I know many of these reviews state that it’s too cold or doesn’t stay cold long enough. I will admit that it is very cold when you first take it out of the freezer. I use this to my advantage by rolling it up and placing it on the back of my neck for about 5 to 10 min and this helps with the tension as well as help bring the temperature up. Even with me doing this, it’s still very cold so I pull it onto my head but not over my eyes… I give it another 5 min and then test it over my eyes. For me, this works great and I don’t mind. It stays cold very long in my opinion. At least for what I need. I figure it’d probably be best to get a few of them if you need the cold long term. I feel like I get 45 min to an hr of decent coldness.

I suffer from horrific migraines and As anyone knows it gets them, it’s debilitating and miserable. I have always used ice packs of all sizes and varieties to help, but it’s always a pain to keep it balanced on my head or hold it to the area that hurts the most. So when I saw this hats I had to have it. I’m happy to say that it fits like a glove and although it’s tight, it’s not too tight. It is extremely cold right out of the freezer but if you could get through that initial shock, it does bring Great relief. Unfortunately, when you take it off, the migraine is still there, but if there was a way for it to stay on longer, you may be able to knock it out faster. That’s why I just ordered my second hat so I could have them on rotation for my next migraine. This is not a miracle in a hat, But it does bring temporary relief and is the best way to hold something extremely cold for an extended period of time to your head. There’s something about having your entire head covered by a fitted ice pack that is a unique way of bringing relief. I think this is a great little invention and recommend it to anyone who also suffers from migraines. I also want to add that this product is very well-made. It feels heavy duty and durable and it would be hard to puncture or damage it. If you store it in the bag it comes with and put it in the freezer when you were not using it, it will last for quite some time from what I can tell.
