OMG wow ! 😄

I have a small, really manageable pool, but they ARE work. So when I faced a season of having to hook up a vacuum hose and deal with having to look at it for hours, I evaluated all my options. I had seen corded versions of pool cleaners. Didn’t love that workload, either. And then, I found the Aiper.

Now — let’s face it — we all know you get what you pay for. So when I saw that it was less than $400, I looked VERY hard at it. The reviews were all stellar, but still. I dug deeper. I went all over the interwebs. It came up as “awesome” everywhere. So I bought it. It was a cinch to “assemble” (basically, you attach the scrapers and charge the battery. It didn’t take long to fully charge; next morning, I followed the instructions on placing it and retrieving it and it was DONE. My pool looks fantastic, my sweet little robot is nicely tucked away in the pump room and okay, I admit it; I’m looking forward to getting some dirt back in there so I can use it again. L.O.V.E.

I ordered this as a open box item and I was honestly a little concerned when I got it because there were no instructions, and I could tell it had been used before. I looked up the YouTube video to see how to use it, and it was really simple, basically a plug-and-play type item. We just had our pool put in a couple weeks ago and we also had quite a bit of dirt work and new sod done after it was set up, so this is the first time the pool has been cleaned. I was extremely pleased with the results!!!

It does take 2 to 3 hours to fully charge, and then it runs just under an hour, so I made sure to go ahead and plug it in so it will be ready when we need it again since it isn’t a “quick charge” thing.

It is super easy to clean, just rinse it off with your hose and a sprayer.

I was very skeptical about this device but now glad that I bought it, its a real time saver. Instead of every morning trying to scoop up debris with the net and spending half an hour or more in doing that, I now just drop the cleaner into the pool and come back a few hours later and fish it out with the supplied hook, open it and hold it under the tap to clean the waste container and then charge it for the next day.

Works very well for our small pool (surface area 17ft x 10ft). It is really good collecting small leaves, little twigs and bugs. It sucks up some sand too, but as it moves too fast across the pool floor to pick up all the sand. The fast movement pushes the sand up and make it swirl around in the water.

The photo shows an example of the state before cleaning. It cleaned up all the visible debris from the pool floor. I have it running daily in the morning or every second day depending on the amount of debris in the pool.

I think if the speed could be better controlled and be a bit slower it would give an even better result and also clean faster. In particular at the beginning of the cycle it moves too fast and creates too much turbulence which makes sand and sometime debris swirl up.

The other rather minor issue is cleaning, the container collecting the waste has a white base plate mounted in it and it is hard to clean debris and sand which gets caught underneath the base plate. This could be improved too I guess, but isn’t really a big deal either.

I absolutely love this product when it works. I would recommend this product with five stars for somebody who has a manufactured flat bottom pool. This product sucks up sand, rocks, leaves, and dead algae from the bottom of my pool. It’s super easy to clean, take apart, and put back together. I spray it out with my garden hose, and set it out to dry. Charging is easy with the red and green light. The charger is made for the product to sit on. The power button on the bottom is easy to push on and off. The hook is sturdy and helps me to get it out of the pool. It’s also how I get the product unstuck. Since I have an above the ground vinyl pool, it is not perfectly flat along the bottom. (We did our best with sand, but not good enough for this little guy.) This product would be perfect if my pool was perfectly flat. It does everything it says it’s going to do, but because the water jets aren’t powerful enough to move it off of the small high spots that I have, I do have to watch it in order for my one hour run time to be entirely useful. If this product didn’t get stuck, I would give it five stars. So, if you were looking to invest in this product and you have a pool that is not manufactured with a flat bottom, I would recommend that you upgrade to the other cordless product that this company makes. If you have a manufactured flat bottom pool (like concrete or fiberglass), then I think this product would work amazing for you. However, I have to go and poke it several times during my one hour run time which means that it’s not a hands-free, let it go and come back later to a clean pool product for my pool.

I did not read the description properly when I purchased this robot. when I read it was for a smooth bottom pool, I thought it meant there could not be any drains or jets. Little did I know it cannot climb up hills to the shallow end. When we use this product it worked quick to clean the bottom portion of our deep in and did a great job! I love how there are no cords or hoses to deal with. The price point is amazing as well. Unfortunately, this product was just not right for our pool.

Here’s where Aiper proved to be a class A company: we contacted April and advised that it was not working for our pool. Instead of calling me a dummy because I did not read the description properly, they advised they would be happy for me to just return the item! It was used (twice) and obviously could not be resold. Thank you Aiper!

To some up, this very low priced cordless robot vacuum is perfect if you have a one level pool and want a quick and easy way to get the bottom clean.

Wow I wish I got it last summer. This little vacuum works great for cleaning the pool. I have an above ground rectangular pool, it’s no issues with going in and out corners. For the price, worth every penny.

I bought this hoping it would be better than hooking up all the hoses to my old vac. It is WAY better than doing that. However, that old system kept running much longer. This one goes about an hour and must be recharged. I will say that it picks up a fair amount in that time. If I left the old system on it would pick up more but take much longer to do it. The cleaning method is the same (open it and hose off the screen and interior) but this vac is way easier because it is not hooked to a hose. It is light weight and easy to take straight to the spigot and spray it off then plug it in to recharge. Super easy to launch too. The bottom of my pool is not wrinkle free. That is not a problem for this vac. I would be interested in buying the larger option. It says it runs longer/picks up more between charges. In all, storage is much better, again no hoses. It does a good job, not great, but good. It is easy to clean and relaunch. I’d say buy it but if you can afford the larger one do get it.

Charge it up… drop it in the pool (gently)… and off it goes!
We call it ‘Zippy’ because it zips right along the bottom of the pool, bumps into a side and then shoots off in another direction. It’s pretty quick

I charged it up and popped it in the first time and watched it go. After about 5 minutes of entertainment, I noticed that there was no real pattern to it. It’s kind random and the robot doesn’t go very straight… There’s a bit of a curve to its trajectory. I thought to myself that this will be a waste and it won’t clean much. I came back in a half hour and it was sitting (dead) by one of the sides and the bottom was pretty darn clean. I was shocked. There were a few leaves on the bottom, quite a bit of dirt and even a small rock that fell into the pool the previous day. It got almost all of it! It even picked up the rock! There were a couple spots that it didn’t seem to hit but 95% was perfectly clean. I was quite impressed. Way better than my hose-attached automatic vacuum in regards to coverage. So I just charge it up and run it a 2nd time. Worth every penny.

It does also come with a plastic hook that can attach to a pool pole (so you can remove it when the battery dies) but I screwed it (with a couple stainless steel screws) onto the end of a broom handle and it works even better! (Smaller at least)

This swimming pool cleaning robot is a great option for me because I always want to keep my outdoor pool sparkling. I’m tired to spending hours on manual vacuuming in the past years. This robot is solid build and durable. The round shape design is very cute and my younger brother and sister are really like it and have promised me to help to clean the pool. It is cord free and I don’t need to worry about the possible electrical shock accident in case there is a damaged cable. I’m also looking at the reasonable size of the basket that collects all the debris, mainly because my pool is surrounded by trees and plants that regularly deposit small leaves and dirt into the pool. This robot could clean common pool contaminants like, algae, dirt, and small debris. As the spring is approaching, I’m planning to open my swimming pool very soon. I will come back to update the use.
