If this lacks anything in power it makes up for it in the choice of auto bi-directional blending which easily breaks up ice or solid fruit and brings it down into the blades and then shuts itself off when done. Then you have the choice of total manual operation with three speeds, I found I don’t need more. The jar is glass, great, and the blender body is plastic, most of them are but I wished it could have been made with metal.

I use this blender at least 3 times a day and counting! I make protein shakes for me and my husband-one vegan and one regular. And then I also make my own version of the frappes. Then on weekends I will make frozen margaritas! Plus every week I make my own salsa. Great product! I use so frequently! Still holding up. Glass doesn’t smell weird. In the past I’ve had old blender glass smell like what I use and this doesn’t! Sometimes I make fruit or veggie smoothies and it’s great! No smell. Pretty easy cleanup. Blade is still very sharp even after how often I use it.

I didn’t want to spend another 100 bucks on a ninja, so I opted to by less expensive blender. I read the reviews and thought I’d give it a try. I’m pleasantly surprised as how well it works. I use it for salsas and smoothies mainly. I’d recommend this blender to a family or friend.

Grew up with OSTER products. I though I would miss the 8-12 speeds needed. Not at all. These hace enough speeds To preform everything you need. breaks ice nicely, I can make sauces, and use it to shred meat. I highly recommend it. Also the blender jar is made of glass. That’s the best thing ever .

Omg I love this blender. I skeptical to buy because sometimes love price items don’t work good. But boy I was wrong. I used on Christmas for the 1st time to make my pina colada and it does what it says. I was looking for a blender to crush ice good. What can I say my search was spot on with this purchase. I use my point to purchase it for the low. Look for you self. I found a blender that makes fine slush as the ones you get from 7 eleven gas stations
