First the kudos. I bought this computer almost three months ago when I had to do global corporate Zoom training. I wanted a larger screen and the 27″ was a major improvement over my small laptop. I like the appearance of the all-in-one; no tangled cables and cords. Lenovo has had a strong brand reputation, which I took into account. I had done a ton of research and believed this was a solid purchase.
But…
Now the malfunctions.
1. I had noticed occasional problems with wi-fi connections. At first, I thought it was the broadband. But the computer would randomly invert letters in the search bar (typing right to left instead of left to right), and I would need to delete and do over. The computer froze a couple of times during the month of training which I attributed to the vast differences in connections. But it continued. And today it wouldn’t connect to a Zoom meeting and I had to reconnect with my laptop. I tried network reset, it worked a few minutes, then stopped again. I have an appointment with Geek Squad tomorrow.
2. Pop-up camera. I really liked the idea of the pop-up camera, and since it was 1080p I thought it would be decent resolution. Wrong! I had to connect an old 720p camera which gives much, much better resolution. Is it possible to get a better Lenovo camera to install in this machine? Even as an aftermarket purchase?
3. Cell phone charger. This was one of the perks I was hoping to get with the purchase. Unfortunately, it doesn’t seem to like my old android phone and is really twitchy.,
4. USB ports are abnormally hard to access. My desk is against the wall, and I have to squeeze between my printer and desk to squirm to the back and plug things in.
5. The keyboard and mouse are flimsy. I am using the old ones from my laptop.
As I said, I did my due diligence research and even read the reviews on this site. I was limited by what was available locally at retail due to the change in my training schedule, and this was the best possibility.

I love this Lenovo AIO. I thought it didn’t have enough USB ports, and then I realized there were some on the back, and some on the side of the back panel. That helped a bit. The keyboard and mouse that comes with it aren’t good, though. I think they should have a bluetooth mouse/keyboard combo included so that you dont have to use up a USB port. Plus, the combo should be rechargeable. Who uses batteries anymore?! The i5, 12GB of RAM, and SSD are lightning quick. I have a new Zenbook with an i7 and the desktop is much faster in all ways. The cameras quality isnt that great. It has a green tint whenever you have a backlight.

An ideal desktop computer for daily tasks, general visualization of tasks, movies, videos… at a great price for everything you have. And the best thing about an all-in-one is that it doesn’t have many cables. wireless mouse and keyboard. wireless devices charging. Amazing!

The all-in-one computer works well in my office space. The 27” screen really makes viewing items easy. A second monitor is easy to add. The 12GB allows the computer to run multiple programs at a time. The flat cell phone charger is a nice add. Now, the reason for 4 stars, instead of five. The need to charge the wireless keyboard, rather than having it battery operated is a hassle with the cord. There aren’t enough USB ports or HDMI ports for people who have to connect/attach additional items. The location of the existing ports, located in the back of the monitor, is not convenient and requires the user to walk around the computer to access it. The pop-up camera ‘feels’ a bit flimsy in its construction.

I’m loving this All-in-One computer!
It has a touch screen, but I don’t use it much. After several years of using regular monitors I forget it’s touch screen. At the time I also purchased an HP monitor that was the same size. I had no issue hooking up the second monitor.
I didn’t use the keyboard or mouse that came with the computer. I have a wireless mouse I had set up with my old computer and a special keyboard that’s split for ergonomics. Both of these were plug and play. The mouse does seem to be a little less responsive but I don’t think I have the correct drivers downloaded on the computer, so I’m going to blame that on the mouse. There is no lag on the keyboard at all.
As far as the base, I’ve read other reviews that say it’s hard to get the right spot for the phone to charge. Once you get it there it quickly charges though. What I did was find the exact spot and put sticky tabs around the phone. The tabs are tall enough that they sit flush next to the phone and puts the phone in exactly the same place every time.
The computer is fast and is perfect for work. I still haven’t moved files from my old computer but plan to do that this weekend. What I like is there a program to help walk me through moving those files. I just need to take the time to do it.
All in all I really like this computer.
