This hairclip it’s honestly so just WOW, it feels heavy when you hold it, but once clipped on hair you will not feel the heaviness, it is very sturdy. I’ve only had it for 2 days and received many compliments and questions to where I got it from. This is a MUST HAVE CLIPPED, I plan to purchase more. Btw I got the one in gold, also looks very professional for those lazy hair/work days this clip will change the hair game.

When I saw this clip online, I was expecting it to be light like plastic covered in gold paint. But this clip is surprising hefty! It feels and looks like it’s made on good quality materials (I’ve only used this for a week so I can’t say whether the clip will chip paint in the future)
That being said, it looks very nice in the hair. I wore it with professional wear all day in the hospital and it honestly made me feel pretty elegant. It can also hold up all of my very thick asian hair without a hair band so I’m pretty impressed. It’s not hard to open (the spring isn’t tight, but it’s not loose either. But all springs loosen over time so I’ll update if it starts feeling too loose.)

My new favorite clip! When I first picked it up I said “gosh this is heavy this will never stay in” but not only does it stay in, but it holds my hair better than any other clip I’ve tried. It’s not so heavy that it weighs down my head either. The heaviness is just sturdiness. I have thick, curly, medium length hair and it is perfect. In order to give a fair review, I had my best friend try it, she has the opposite hair that I do.. very thin and she loved it too. I’ll be ordering her one for her birthday she loves it so much.
The only thing I wish is that it came in a slightly larger size. The size held all my hair but I’d like the option of some other sizes as well for more style options. All in all, I’d say it was worth the purchase and I’ll buy more!

So cute!! Great quality. Strong! Great for thick hair- although if you want to pin up ALL of your thick long hair, it’s not the largest clip. Would buy again!

I like the hair clip but it is heavy and I feel the heavy weight of it dragging and pulling my hair but if you are after a beautiful and classy clip, this is what you should go for.

Largest waste of money. I paid $15 for this and it’s tiny even tho it was labeled as large when I ordered it. I also paid $15 for it but the sticker on the back of the product says $8

I usually hesitate weeks with stuff in my cart waiting to check out but don’t do that with this hair clip! I have massive amounts of long thick curly hair and this little buddy does the trick! Very sturdy, holds right in place. Much better than some cheap plastic Goodie crap, & the style fits me perfect- I wish they had black! (they might- I didn’t look that hard). Had it for a few months now and if it breaks I’m 100% buying another. Worth the money!

Every excited to get this hair clip than when it arrived, much smaller than expect so can’t you it at all for my hair. If you have thick hair curly hair I wouldn’t buy it

Wonderful product! I wear it all the time although the spring is not as strong as others I have purchased. This isn’t a major issue, but it does not grab the hair as much as a result. The look is great though. I have seen others that are wrapped in gold foil, where as this one is actually metal- great look and design

I never write reviews but this clip is so awesome I had to. First it’s actually like a heavy weight metal, not plastic at all. I recently cut my hair short and I’ve been trying to figure out different ways to wear it. This clip is awesome for short hair and I’d imagine it could easily hold back long hair as well. I have VERY thick, curly hair and this clip held it in place all day, no repositioning needed! It’s well worth the money and ill be muting others for sure!

I searched for clips for LONG THICK HAIR. This was one of the ones with better composition. Being metal, it MUST be tough. The description says 3″ wide. I ASSUMED that meant the grip width, since they were stressing long, thick hair. Don’t believe it! That is the sideways width. The grip width is only about an inch. I was willing to settle for a 3″ grip, though that is just barely useful for me. I really need one at LEAST 4″ – preferably made of metal.
This item will NOT, REPEAT NOT, work for long, thick hair. My hair is down to where my leg meets my bottom, and since it came back after chemo, it’s twice as thick as before, despite my 60 years. What it amounts to is that, though I keep searching and WASTING MONEY, there is NO CLIP on the Amazon site that will keep my hair on top of my head without looking so messy that my poor mother is probably spinning in her urn, usually taking two clips to do the job. These people need to STOP ADVERTISING as if they have extra large clips when they are anything but. I did give two stars because it is a well made clip. It’s just a third the size it needs to be for the verbiage the seller is using. I first make a ponytail, then braid it, fastening both ends with the covered elastics, then I fold that braid four thicknesses and tack it up on top of my head, leaving the extra tail hanging down in back. This is my housecleaning/cooking hairdo. I have only one clip left that can juuuuuuuuust barely stretch across those four braid thicknesses to hold that weight on top of my head so my braid doesn’t flop down into everything I am doing. My braid is longer than my arms at this point and I am tired of WASTING money trying clips that I would never have purchased if the description hasn’t lied. And no, don’t say ‘return’ to me. Since I am not Amazon with bulk deals from delivery companies, it will cost as much, or more, than it’s worth to return these items. I can still use it to do some minor hairdos to keep it out of my face when I leave it loose otherwise. I need someone to rewrite the descriptions on all these clips to delete the terms ‘extra large’ and ‘long and thick hair.’ The second request would be for someone to carry a clip that DESERVES those terms.

This clip really surprised me- I thought that it was going to be cheap and light weight, but it is really heavy and high quality. The color and design is really beautiful and the claw is really strong and holds well. My hair is very thin and fine so it’s too heavy to hold up a half-up style for my type of hair without an elastic underneath, but for someone with thicker or curly hair this may work better. Regardless- it’s really beautiful and a great way to elevate a simple 1/2 up style.

I have had long thick hair for over 55 years now. I have had countless clips and other hair accessories. Many of them I have either broke or I have lost because they broke. I ordered this clip, praying that it would be at least 1/2 as good as what I have had in the past. I am thrilled to say that I am so thrilled to say that this clip is well made, and holds my very thick hair. I need to also say that this clip is very comfortable, and I ended up falling to sleep wearing it. I already plan on ordering some more of Kitsch Hair Products. I am praying that they are all made as well as the one I have already received. One Happy Customer!
