It makes a Difference. I noticed that it was keeping the drinks cooler. I wasn’t sure if it was just me, so I did a test.
I used one cup from the freezer and one with no cooling. Surprised at the results.
Use my favorite drink a coke with no ice.
Took it out of the Refrig and it was 38.3 degrees. Poured equal amounts in both cups.
After 1 min. 35.2 and 45.5 degrees.
After 5 min’s 33.6 and 48.2,
After 10 min’s 33.0 and 50.3,
After 20 min’s 33.2 and 54.8,
After 30 min’s 33.6 and 56.2 degrees.
So Confirmed it does what is say’s it would. That is all you can ask for.

For 4 plastic glasses that cost almost $40, these were of surprisingly low quality. One cracked on the bottom the second day, and leaked the gel all over the place. It’s possible it was cracked during shipment; I am not sure. I sent them back and will be looking for a better product to keep frozen margaritas frozen for longer. I also would have preferred a more substantial, heavier feel but these felt as light as disposable plastic cups.

handy way to drink margaritas and they look very festive. just keep them in the freezer until your’e ready and take out pour the heavenly beverage in and your set. handy rubber grip around the base helps for gripping the smaller base. i have large hands so the small base is a little hard to handle for me. if the stem was a little taller allowing my big mitt to fit better i would add another star. my wife and i have enjoyed many beverages from these and they somehow seem to elevate the fun. would buy again.

And I don’t mean Margaret Thatcher! These cups are perfect for a couple who love their frozen cocktails, or those who own a margaritaville! My girlfriend loves them. And they freeze very quickly, and stay frozen for quite some time. Need to pick up two more though so we can rotate them in the freezer and always have ice-cold drinks!

I love the look, shape and feel of the Margarita glasses but I found there was not much freezer gel in them, probably only 1/4 full, if that. Did anyone else find that?

I ordered one set to try them out. Have made Margaritas several times now and used the cups every time. They keep them nice & frozen 🙂 I had to order another set! Definitely recommend these!

This is my third type of Host Freezing Glasses. I have a set of four wine glasses, four whiskey glasses, and two margarita glasses. These are great for the patio, taking on picnics, taking for beach vacation, or just keeping your drink cold for hours on a hot summer day! Host makes a quality product. I keep my glasses in the freezer all of the time….ready to go. Have never had a problem with any style of glass that I own. If you share one…..you might never get it back. Everyone loves them.

They stayed frozen and kept the margarita slushy and was able to have a second one and it was still cold

Best Margarita. I contribute to this cup, the sugar rim and of course the tequila. Only wish I had 4 and they were larger to hold more margarita.
