I’ve been in the food industry for as long as I can remember, I’ve known of Amana refigeration untits for the longest time, they are reliable and have superb performance.
When I was shopping for another fridge for my house and I found that Amana had a line for household use I was very excited. My new Amana fridge is quiet and it works like a charm.

Not worth the money. Amana sells the exact same refrigerator with glass shelves and a full shelf in the freezer. It has the exact same MSRP as this one, which has wire shelves and a half shelf in the freezer.
Amana’s customer service is awful. I’ve tried several times to contact customer service only to be on hold for over an hour each time.
I would look at different models and manufacturers and choose one with a bit more conveniences. I guess no one at Amana has ever tried to stand a bottle or can on a wire shelf. I would recommend a different refrigerator.

In summary, we have this unit in our garage. Bought in Jan and even on the lowest setting, would freeze veggies etc. during colder months. Now that it’s warmer weather, it doesn’t get cold enough even on the coldest setting. Struggles to stay in the low 50°.
Really, really disappointed.

love this fridge. looks nice. great price, very spacious however i received it with a scratch on the top right side of the freezer door 🙁
