It was simple plug & play to connect two Netgear switches, GS724Tv4 and XS708T using AmazonBasics 10Gb 40Gb Multimode OM3 Duplex 50/125 OFNP Fiber Patch Cable LC to LC. And you get two SFP modules for the less than a price of one Netgear branded SFP module.

Tested on Ubiquiti EdgeSwitch 10XP and Netgear GC110. Worked great on the Ubiquiti but did not work at all on the Netgear.

StarTech always delivers for High-Speed cabling and optical connectivity. This is no exception! Plug and play, once connected to a Cisco Switch it met or excelled every burst and sustained test that we gave it.
It’s a short review, but its a simple device. It just throws huge amounts of data down fiber. Makes installation/upgrading a breeze. It’s nice when something makes this job easier, not harder!

Works as described quite well, seems a bit expensive but these SFP modules vary dramatically in price and this one is likely better made.
