Great game, massive open world but the combat system needs more work, no cover options means it feels like more luck than skill when it comes to fights.

The game is great but I was working on Nuka Cola World and the game completely uninstalled the entire game and all 6 DLC packs and when I reinstalled the game, it said that the DLC packs code was already used and now I can’t finish them and I have a bunch of broken quests now.

I bought this because it’s the cheapest way to get all the DLC, and because FO76 wasn’t available yet. I already had the main game (FO4). Love the DLC – Automatron is so cool; I have an army of custom painted Assaultrons roaming Sanctuary now. Nuka World is great fun and the radio station DJ is the best ever. I’m just now getting started on Far Harbor. I’ve almost never purchased DLC before but wow these really make the game better and tons more fun. The only downside is that my main squeeze Piper is stuck hanging around Sanctuary because I now bring Ada everywhere to blast everything with dual auto lasers. I never thought I’d say this, but Fallout 4 is now my favorite game, above even Skyrim.

This is a three year old game and it’s still not working right. After downloading the game (29 gigs that they could have just put on the damn disc) plus another ten for all the “Game of the Year” stuff I’m smacked in the face with the first clitch. No audio for the voices. When I hit start then I hear the voices of the characters but otherwise it’s just the radio and background sounds. To add insult to injury the voice sync is terrible and it actually slows the game because you have to wait for the animation to catch up. Update: Shutting off and turning back on my Xbox One X seems to have fixed the problem Update 2 Now that it’s up and running properly it’s an immensly enjoyable game

Bought from a 3rd party seller. All additional content is downloadable via a code. A code that MAY OR MAY NOT be included in the case. So you may spend extra cash on the “GOTY” edition, only to end up with regular Fallout 4. BE CAREFUL!!! Wasted $25 bucks just to end up with a second copy of the game, with nothing else to show.

I am not grumbling about the quality of the game or its content, it’s really stellar in terms of gameplay/ mechanics. My complaint is that when I installed the disc, my console did not recognize the dlc content as being on the disc. After a few YouTube video tutorials on how to retrieve such content which I followed thoroughly, the console still refused to recognize the content, which was supposed to be included. I had to then buy each dlc individually for a total that cost more than the disc itself! Is this an extortion racket being run by Bethesda and Microsoft? Because it sure feels that way. Update: My Xbox One finally crashed, and I bought a new one. When I re- installed this, I got the DLC, but for some weird reason, I couldn’t get the furniture items such as beds, tables containers and chairs in my build menu. I even created 3 characters to test this, and all 3 couldn’t get the furniture to load. Defective disc, imo

I’m so happy that I was able to get this and all the DLC’s together. It also came with a Fallout 3 code? Not sure if that’s standard or what but hey, it’s like two games for one. The gameplay is reminiscent of Skyrim though I am still figuring out what all the buttons and such do. I really like the radio stations and the plethora of mods I can get to make the game even more interesting.

Excellent installment to the franchise. It’s not “New Vegas,” but carries the torch Bethesda lit with Fallout 3 with pride. The few grievances the game gets from other reviews, notably the character/ perk system, some of the writing, lack of karma (a key feature of earlier games), and occasionally acting “buggy,” are greatly diminished by the overall experience, depth of play, and an immersive story that really challenges one’s perceptions and preconceptions, resulting in a finale awash in tough decisions and bitter compromises. What it does well, it does very well, and there is a lot Bethesda did well in this game.

By far one of the best games I’ve ever played. I am about 55 hours into the game, and only around half way through it. For what I paid that makes it about 40 cents/hour of entertainment or less if you have to restart or learn some of the mechanics. I wouldn’t recommend this for younger gamers due to the foul language, gore, blood, and you know, the whole depressing post-apocalyptic setting.
