I don’t normally write reviews as often as I should but I have to warn others about this shirt because I didn’t listen to the reviews myself. This shirt is supposedly made by “Just My Size” and I am familiar with the brand and have bought from them in a brick and mortar store and never had any issues. I wear a 2x in just about any brand and I know that can vary but generally a 2x T-shirt fits with extra room and has a nice length to it. The other reviews said that the arm holes were strangely small which I can back up but that was not my problem. This shirt in 2x was more like a medium or large. I was able to put it on but it was laughable! The shirt was so short and so tight that I felt like Baby Huey for those that get the reference. In order for this shirt to have fit me I think I would have needed a 5 or 6 x and even then I think it would be too short. The price on this is not worth my time to send back so I will be donating to Good Will for a child to perhaps wear. This must be someone saying they are the brand Just My Size but the size runs more for teenagers. Very unhappy that I didn’t listen to what the other reviews said so I didn’t waste my time or money.

This is not a short-sleeved shirt. It’s a tank top with shoulder visors. As you can see from the picture, the top of the sleeve (that which extends from the shoulder out to mid-upper-arm) is about 5-6 inches, but the bottom part of the sleeve (that which extends from under the arm out) is less than an inch long. I’ve lost a lot of weight, and I have loose skin on my arms that I’d rather the whole world not see, whether I’m lifting my arms and waving them around or not. This “sleeve” doesn’t cover my arm, it just covers the top of my shoulder.

This shirt was cut weird. The shoulders are fine. The armholes are too small. It seems to get smaller as it goes down from the underarms. The dog design starts at about my waist which is strange. I like the length. The price was great. I got a larger size than usual because of the reviews saying it runs small. I should of gotten at least one more size larger. This runs at least 2 sizes too small. In order to compensate for the miscut features, I would order 3 sizes bigger than usual. The material is soft and feels nice. I have not washed it yet. If it shrinks, I will not be able to wear it at all. Overall, for the price it would be a great deal if you order at least 3 sizes larger than you usually get.

– the cut/shape of the shirt is odd:
tight on hip, baggy across waist, too broad across shoulders, armholes cut bigger than the sleeve (armpit area huge & the sleeve is funnel shaped making the opening oddly tight)

My usual size is 3X but I ordered up because I wanted some extra room. It just barely fits. I’m afraid it will shrink and not fit anymore. Otherwise it’s a nice color, 100% cotton and seems well made.

This shirt fits kind of weird… It’s really long and although it fits like the right size, it doesn’t feel like it because it’s quite clingy and shows every lump and bump. Not flattering at all 🙁

I have purchased many items over the years from this brand, Just My Size. Although, this is the first time I’ve bought a shirt online from them. Past experience has told me to order T-Shirts in a much bigger size, so I ordered a 5X. The 5X is excessively big on me – as it should be. But, I know if I were to order a 2 or 3X it probably would have been too tight in the chest area
The material this shirt is made of is definitely quality material, this is not some light see through T-Shirt by any means!
I ordered this shirt to wear around the house though, so I wasn’t too worried about the shirt being overly large. The problem is, the pattern on this shirt is really adorable; the colors are vivid, nice and bright; and the material this shirt is made of is so dang comfortable that I am wearing it out and about as well!
Honestly I can’t believe how cheap these shirts cost! Don’t tell anyone, but I wonder if the material costs more than what they are selling the shirts for! Talk about a great value for your money! And as most of you know, buying plus sizes are normally much more expensive – so these shirts were a welcome surprise. Can’t beat this price!

The sleeves fit weird. There isnt really room around my bust and i ordered a size bigger! Its like all the extra bust room is in the back and i keep having to pull the front down to not feel restricted. Im returning and normally i love every jms shirt.

The body of the shirt is typical JMS cut, wider at the bottom which is comfortable. The problem is the sleeves. They are too short and tight. I don’t know that I speak for everyone but if you’re ordering a plus size top, I’m guess you don’t want little, short, clingy sleeves. Very unflattering. Sorry to say, most plus size manufacturers don’t seem to get it. A few more inches in the sleeve length would have meant all the difference.

I liked it so much I bought it in three colours. They fit well and can be used as a T-shirt or pajama top. If they had had a bunch of other colours, I probably would have bought one of each. N.B. The word “colour” is not misspelled. I live in Canada.

I am elderly and very overweight. So, after reading reviews, worried about fit, as I am very big, in front, and, very big arms, whilst having trouble
raising my arms. But, using it as a night shirt, I forged ahead. Am I thrilled I did, with the price being so reasonable, on a fixed income.
Figured, on a good day, I am a 2X. I ordered 5X. Very roomy, in all areas. Front and arms fit loose. Fabric, is so soft, with neck area, loose
and comfortable. Long and loose enough to cover the behind area, of which, mine is huge!
I am very pleased and will be ordering more.
Thrifty Bargain Hunter –
I’ve purchased long-sleeve crew neck t-shirts from this brand (see review for details) so figured these would be the same. Not so. The material is thinner than I expected and the shirt is several inches shorter than pictured on the model. I take size 1X and ordered two of these in 3X to ensure they fit. They are a very small make, even smaller than the long-sleeve t-shirts. Right now these fit like a 2X, which is okay, but I haven’t washed them yet and know they will shrink in the dryer. If they shrink as much as my other shirts, these won’t even be wearable for around the house. There’s only one way to find out so I’ll post a later update. Know that the fit is strange. Its okay across the chest but has deep armpits, if that makes sense. It is shaped like a box, so when I raise my arms the whole shirt lifts up to my belly button. I did buy these for around the house and yard, and expected the fit would be off, but this is a bit much. These are NOT made for North American women.
UPDATE: The shirts did shrink even though I used cold/delicate settings. The 3X fits now like size XL, and the hem of the shirt has shrunk several more inches. If I reach for something the shirt lifts up and exposes my midriff. This product is not at all like the long-sleeve crew necks. These fit me terribly now and are too short to even wear with pyjama pants. Even the necklines are higher and smaller than pictured. Amazon is letting me return them to get a refund. However, I am really irritated at being sold something that is not at all as advertised, and the whole inconvenience of having to wait weeks for the return and refund to be processed. If you are considering buying this shirt…do yourself a favour and keep looking. If you decide to buy this anyway, order at LEAST 2 sizes larger than usual. Order 3 sizes larger if you want it to be loose. But, no matter what size you get, the hem will be several inches shorter than pictured. A very petite person might find the length okay, but my guess is that they will find the overall fit very odd just the same. This shirt is not shaped for women. If you manage to get an okay fit across the bust, the shoulders and armpits will be too wide. It just feels uncomfortable. You can get a 2 pack of men’s t-shirts from other brands for the roughly the price of one of these.
FINAL UPDATE: I never did get around to sending these back. So, I gave one away and kept the other. After washing this shirt 3 times it is fit for a plus-size child. As the fabric shrank it seemed to become thicker and thicker but with no stretch. The neck is so small and the waist so short that it’s extremely uncomfortable. I’m ripping this one up to make cleaning rags. But the worst thing about this shirt is it’s a lint magnet. Any fur or lint on my other shirts washed at the same time all stuck to this one. It’s seriously the worst t-shirt I’ve ever owned. It took about 12 lint roller sheets to remove maybe half of it. The rest will probably only come off with a vacuum upholstery brush attachment. Never again! I order 6 pack of men’s t-shirts instead for the price of 2 of these. I recommend you consider the same. Either way, avoid this shirt as it will disappoint.

Just My Size plain tee-shirts for women used to be a higher-quality cotton, and they used to be cut as if they were made for, you know, women? Curvy women? I guess I expect too much when I expect a product called “Just My Size Women’s Plus-Sized” anything to be cut as if it would fit a plus-sized woman, but, well, I do. If you usually wear a US size 20, then you will need to order this shirt in 3X. I used to order size 1X to fit the exact same me whose shape and size has not changed at all. I ordered a 2X because I had been noticing the trend in JMS towards small lately, but it was not enough. I was VERY disappointed in the quality and the sizing as well as the only-vaguely-woman-shaped cut of this item.
