DECEPTIVE ADVERTISING!
Description says 100% leather, it is only about 3% leather. The only part of the belt is that the “tab” that holds the buckle on is leather. the rest is “Leather Like”
I purchased it for my dad and he loved it, he said he had one just like it but it broke where the buckle goes in to the belt. He showed it to me and it was the exact same belt.Anyone who gave this item a good review, has not worn it for long.
Called Amazon and they gave me my money back.
If something is to good to be true, it is!

These belts look really nice and will probably last forever… as long as you don’t wear them. I have had two and within a couple of months of wear the lacing breaks and they begin to unravel. I have had braided belts before that have lasted, but these are poor quality. Funny, I have gotten some Docker shoes recently that look good when you get them but the soles wear out very quickly. I used to think of Dockers as a quality brand name, but no more.

The second time I wore it, the braid began to wearl at the buckle stress-point.I have had leather braided belts for years before they began to wear like that but I have been snookered by belts that looked like leather but were not and didn’t last. I purposely looked for a “leather” belt. The first line of Amazon’s description reads, “100% Leather”. It looked like the color I needed so I bought it. It looked/felt like leather so I packed it for a week’s vacation. When it showed wear after the 2nd time I wore it I examined it more closely. Inside on the tab (that attaches the buckle) in small print it reads, “LEATHER TAB” and “MANMADE LACING”. That’s about 3 inches of leather to 39 inches of plastic junk.
Snookered again and pissed off!

It’s exactly as advertised and as seen in stores (it’s a Dockers belt). For me, finding my size in stock has been an issue. So I went on Amazon and ordered from there. I don’t usually like ordering clothes this way, as I want to see it, feel it, try it on first. The price was the same as in stores like Wal-Mart. But I found my size and it arrived quickly. There have been no issues. At this price, I won’t expect the belt to last “forever” but it’s the same with other similar priced belts I’ve bought in the past. I was happy enough with my purchase that I ordered a second one.

I had an identical belt made by Dockers and bought this one to replace it, since my old one finally wore out after about 10 years.
This one didn’t make even one year, and I haven’t worn it nearly as regularly as the old one.
As others have said, the fake “leather” quickly flakes off where the buckle fastens, revealing cheap white material (cotton fiber?) under the fake “leather.” This fiber can’t handle the pressure of the buckle, and quickly tears (also looks like crap).
I bought a similar-looking belt (in black) by Tommy Hilfiger from a different seller around the same time. That one is holding up perfectly, as I’d expect from actual leather…not this crappy one.
Either Dockers has gone WAY downhill in quality, or this is a fraudulent product. I’m going with the latter.

El producto es de un buen material (de acuerdo a la marca) lo agarre en su momento en un buen precio por ende le da un plus, el paquete llegó antes de lo previsto (como siempre), la talla viene un poco ajustado, en lo particular nada que me moleste, pero si te recomiendo que pidas dos tallas mas grande de lo que usas con regularidad tus jeans o pantalones.

It is 2 inches shorter than all other belts marked as that same size. It is also bending along the line of the holes. Like the top edge wants to mate with the bottom edge. I have been wearing this style of belt (sold by Wal-Mart) for many years. THIS is the first one to EVER do that. I expected better that that from the Dockers Name. The belt is also 3 mm narrower than other belts I have owned. I purchased this item on January 12, 2015 and it already has an elongated hole and deep crease under the buckle. I suspect I will not get more than 3-4 months of daily use before it breaks. I will not purchase this brand again.
*********Update****4/24/15***********
The belt unraveled at one of the holes about a month ago and consistently snags on the belt loops as I put it on and take it off. Now several holes are stretching and look as if they will fail in the near future. I have pictures. One picture also illustrates the bowing that I mentioned previously.

Arrived as when it was supposed too, fit very well as I sorta was guessing my size atm, wasn’t sure if I was a little bigger or smaller, (due to COVID-19,) wear it the same day for a very special occasion so looked like I just bought it that day!

It is poorly made and does not last. I had this belt only for a few weeks and as I was buckling it, the belt broke apart where the stretch material recedes into the leather strands. Looking it over, there is less than a third of an inch of leather attaching the strands to the bulk of the belt.
There is no supporting material attached to create a solid foundation for the leather to attach itself to. No supporting stitches to create a solid attachment. It is junk using the Docker name to sell itself to unsuspecting customers. Lastly, it isn’t cheap in cost. I paid a high price because I thought I was buying higher quality. Sad.

I like these belts. I bought first one few years back and it is still good. But I thought to get a black and a brown one before my first one is not usable any more. So ordered them and yes got them well in time.

I have never owned a belt in my life. Going on a weight loss journey so I needed a belt. It is great. Lots of holes to adjust the belt so I will be able to wear it for a long time. It has that great leather smell too.

I didn’t wear this belt within the 30 day return period, my mistake. I bought it for $22.99, and thought it looked classy and durable..
After wearing it for less than a month, the bands started to break. But since it was past the 30-day return period, TO BAD for me!!
HIGHLY RECOMMEND NOT BUYING THIS BELT.. Would NOT buy this belt again, POOR QUALITY, weak leather banding breaks easily..
I’d love a refund, but that ship has sailed..
So maybe this review will warn others to NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!!!

First off I have to say, I purchased the same belt from a local retailer five years ago. That belt (exactly the same) lasted for 5 years before finally breaking down. I purchased this belt in May/2018 and it is already falling apart, thats 4 1/2 months and the belt is ready for the trash can. Either I was unlucky enough to get a bad one or the manufacturing process has gone down hill. I bought a Black and Brown at the same time – the Black belt seems to be holding up?
