It’s Burnout Paradise with all the add-ons/DLC’s bumped up for Xbox One. What’s not to like?

The nostalgia is surreal! It’s been years since I’ve played this game. Still to this day is one of the best racing games I’ve ever played.

I do love me a good Arcade Racer! If you are one of those who balk at ‘unrealistic’ physics, and whose idea of an excellent racing videogame is solely one where you can adjust the tire pressure or the engine’s fuel mix to give you the one. . last. . thing. . you need to win the race, turn back now because this is surely not for you!
If however you enjoy driving around a beautiful resort town and occasionally indulging in madcap racing challenges and over the top stunts, put on your heavy lead shoes and go to town!
Spectacular crashes, insane jumps and dozens of hidden shortcuts await!
I mentioned shortcuts as a plus, this is true. Unfortunately, these can be ‘abused’ within certain challenges and in some PvP matches.
When the player enters a race, there is a route highlighted on the game map. This is not much more than a suggestion most of the time. All that seems to matter is getting from the Start of the race to the Finish, by whatever route pleases you. So it is not so much which player drives the given route the fastest, it is more who gets from Point A to Point B faster than anybody else. For some this is a distinction without a difference. If it doesn’t matter how I get there why bother showing me the route?
The fact that I am giving a 5-Star rating to the game in spite of the above comment should tell you how impactful that quibble is to my enjoyment of this game. After all, I seem to be able to accept that merely driving through a garage can instantly repair my car! I got no complaints!
Enjoy!

Not your typical racing game! I hate regular racing games this takes all the aspects of Grand Theft Auto: open-world and cops shutting you down, then makes it a racing only game! I love it!
