This is my first entry into hand held massage guns and I can only compare to what my massage therapist uses. The guns look pretty much the same but the SonicPro generates more noise and the vibrations did not feel as deep as the other one. I have only used the foam ball (which I think should be a little bigger) so far on my legs and I have had my massage therapist use the gun on my legs for one session as well. My legs are the only reason I purchased the gun in the first place. The gun is great when controlled by me while being used on my own body but when controlled by a professional it’s only ok. Don’t get me wrong though, considering the money spent on the gun, the warranty offered, the accessories included, this is a great valued starter gun.

Full disclosure: I find pointless beeps and other sounds from devices irritating. Every time a change to any aspect of this device is selected, there is a beep. Change the speed setting, end of timer, etc., there’s a beep. My son had one of these items manufactured “pre-beep,” I used it for some back pain, worked great, and I bought my own. So the current version has the beep sound. So imagine, a quiet and serene setting, spa music in the background, giving your loved one a massage, you want to change a setting, and presto! an annoying beep to disturb the scene. And no way to disable the beep. The beep serves zero actual purpose. Just gratuitous annoying noise. Otherwise it’s a great device.

Very happy with my purchase and the performance and functionality of the gun. I appreciate having the carrying case, the timer, ergonomics of the handle, the ability to charge only the handle, and how the massage gun handles when I really push into an area. Beyond that is the work you have done providing videos and welcome nice touch.

My feedback for next level is less speeds, I do not find such a range of 15 is needed. 10 or less would be sufficient, however, happy it is not 30 like some other guns. Also too many pointy heads a swapping out for a smaller ball head option (total 2) would be another suggestion. My favourite head is the smaller flat one with the bumps. I would recommend this gun to others for the price point and what is delivered.

I love this massage gun! I’ve purchased a LOT of massage devices and pain relief/recovery tools and gadgets (including two other percussion guns) over the years to help manage a connective tissue disorder with intense muscle spasms. Not all of my purchases have worked out. I’m happy to say the Sonic Pro is the real deal–and at a surprisingly low price. This kind of percussion is particularly helpful with my myofascial and muscle pains.

Before discovering Lifepro, I had borrowed a friend’s more expensive massage gun (she paid more than 3X the price for a competing brand.) I like everything about my Sonic Pro so much better!! It’s easier to hold onto with a non-slip grip handle. It comes in a compact storage case with an impressive selection of easily interchangeable heads, although I’ve settled on mostly two or three of my own favorites for targeted relief. And it’s the quietest massage gun I’ve tried, without sacrificing the power of more expensive models. The Sonic Pro is intense enough for my roommate’s thick “soccer muscles” and my own super spasms (My chiropractor jokes that I’m the “woman of steel!”) but its lower settings are still effective for more tender areas. I like the wider range of 15 incremental settings–instead of just high/medium/low–and the digital timer function. Tip: besides adjusting power or pressure, changing the massage heads can alter perceived intensity. We took turns using it pretty regularly every day for five days before it needed to be recharged. The only thing I would probably change is the “beep” when you adjust the settings.

I did a lot of research before choosing Lifepro. With so many competing products on the market, it’s really hard to tell them apart from just pictures. I’ve purchased several other health and wellness items from Lifepro and have been truly impressed with my products and the way Lifepro actively supports them. Right out of the box I could tell the Sonic Pro is another quality product, and it has exceeded my expectations so far.
