Hisense – 2.1-Channel Soundbar with Wireless Subwoofer – black

I received this product at a discounted rate in exchange for my honest opinion. This soundbar is thin but puts up good sound. If you are worried about space, you don’t have to be because it’s one of the thinnest soundbars I’ve ever seen. It’s great for watching movies and TV. The subwoofer has good bass, especially if you’re listening to music. Sound is clear even when not maxed out. Voices come through clearly and it’s a solid soundbar at an inexpensive price.

Paired perfectly to Hisense 4K UHD 50″. Multi connection options: optical, HDMI (ARC). Can playback music from phones, tablets with bluetooth. Nice looking display and remote control of audio functions.

As somebody who has never owned a soundbar before, I found the Hisense HS218 with wireless subwoofer to be a great starting point. The product offers a clear and immersive sound that far surpasses what a TV’s built-in speakers can offer and there are great options for adjusting the sound to your liking with the bass, treble, and EQ adjustment options on the remote. Everything is very easy to set up as well since the remote and wireless subwoofer come pre-paired to the soundbar. You just need to plug in the power and the connection to the TV and you’re good to go. The only extra thing you might have to do is go into your TV’s settings and tell it to send its audio to the soundbar. Please note that I tested this soundbar connected to my TV using a digital optical cable. I did not test using the HDMI, coax, or 3.5mm ports.
The Bluetooth option also works very well for connecting a phone or other device if you would like to use the soundbar as a speaker to play music. Pairing is extremely straightforward and the instructions walk through how to do it in case there is any confusion.
Overall, I would recommend this soundbar to anybody who doesn’t already own a soundbar or other home theater speaker setup and is looking to beef up their TV’s audio system.

I had just moved to a new place and during the move my old soundbar went missing . This had saddened me and I decided to hold off on purchasing a new one and began to use my newer television set without said soundbar. How bad could it be without a Soundbar I thought to myself . Well I as well as my children shortly found out that having a Soundbar with your television makes a huge difference . The television often had to be at max volume at almost all times in order to even hear anything. This was slightly annoying and the voice in my head that said “ purchase a new Soundbar got louder and louder “ That’s when I was fortunate enough to be able to receive the Hisense HS218 2.1 CH Soundbar with wireless subwoofer in 200 watts at a discounted price in exchange for my honest opinion . I excitedly waited for my Soundbar to arrive and immediate set it up within an hour of it arriving . I had no issues setting it up and it only took me fifteen minutes from start to finish . I was pleased to see that I personally did not have to purchase any additional cables as included in the box was everything I needed to set it up with my television . I was unsure at first as the manual mentioned that in some instances you may need to have certain wires that were not included to install , however this was not the case with my television and that was another plus . My son put the quality to the test within the first hour of it being hooked up and shows he previously had to watch on 75 volume now were coming threw the Soundbar at a volume range of just 10. This made me beyond happy but needed to test it out for myself and that’s exactly what I’ve been doing . The quality is amazing , it gives you a theatre like experience right in your own living room. The subwoofer was something that I had never personally owned and am loving the extra oomph it brings to my television watching experience . I can honestly say that I am impressed with this device in all areas at this point . The unit was very affordable and for the price you can’t beat it . An added bonus is I love the way it looks in front of my tv , it’s sleek and not an eyesore as some Soundbars can be .
