I really like this product. I bought this for the move I did with my dad from Michigan to Florida. We were in separate cars so we figured it would be wise to get walkies due to dead zones for phones. The walkies worked pretty good. They were not made for long distances though but that was expected. We got about 2 miles apart and it was very noisy with static. The earphone on one came broken, however, I was still able to make it work. My favorite thing about it though would have to be the fact that the charger is a USB cable and so to plug in the car to charge was easy to do.

My wife and I own a small 25 acre farm and after getting my grandson a set (another brand) and realizing how clear the sound was I thought two ways would be a great way to stay in touch while I’m out working and she’s still in the house. I choose these based on the claimed range and the fact that they are rechargeable. I am impressed. Contrary to what other’s have said these feel very durable, not like cheap toys. They come with earbuds that have a control on the line which allows you to communicate while having the radio attached to your pocket or belt. Also comes with a very sturdy belt clip designed in a manner that would keep it from slipping off your belt when your stooping or moving about. You will have to install the battery which simply clips on the back, The antenna which screws into the top very easily, and the belt clip which requires the removal of two small screws in the back. None of these require any special skills beyond common sense. Now for the good stuff. I left on with my wife in the house an took a walk to the other side of the farm and the reception was so clear it was almost like sitting in the house with her. Absolutely no static. I had no concerns at that point that these would allow us to communicate anywhere we were on the farm. Also making this even more amazing to me is the fact that our property is heavily wooded. The next day my wife was driving to our daughter-in-law’s to pick up one of our grandsons. We already had our second grandson at our home. I asked him to ride along with grandma and take one of the radios along. Now keep in mind this is a heavily treed area. I was quite shocked to discover that these radios reached over two miles before any breakup at all. I would certainly buy again.

Yeah they work great.
I tested them at 2 miles apart and they were just as clear as talking in person.
The range says 5km so that’s just over 3 miles.
Many before have said like 2 miles and I go a couple blocks away and it gets tough to hear at all but not these, even my friends were impressed on how well they work. Dont spend more money if you only need a 3mile range because these are great.

Have had these for a few weeks now . Very happy with the quality for the price. Much better value than anything available locally.Range is unbelievable easily 5 klm through double brick and behind hills. sound is so clear. I have been testing them with my kids I will leave one at home in my Double brick house I can walk my dog 3klm away behind huge sand dunes and my son can hear me clear as if in the same room. We will be using them for upcoming road trips convoys and spotting and even in the boat close to shore.

Used these walkie talkies to communicate between 2 cars while driving from Delaware to Chicago. Worked very well up to at least a mile away and we were able to keep each other informed as to our destination. We’re always in touch with each other.

Ok so the shipping was fast and the radio works very well. HOWEVER you can be fined for using them.
Be aware that these are not legal in Australia. Google “Beware of the dodgy two-way radio” (from ACMA) for more information. I only realised this after purchasing.

Shipment was very fast, I charged both units and tried then, everything works a ok. Company needs to have someone who knows English profoundly to write the manual, it is not clear as how to use the radio, it also said something about FM, do not understand, I think it would be better and cheaper to not use a charger unit. Put a USB port on the radio and charge directly. I do not think you should carry the charger unit with you when one is outside, in your car, camping, hunting, fishing, sailing, just doing anything outside. You need to do away with the charger unit or put a USB port on the radio to charge directly.

Fantastic! My wife bought these for our kids, just to play army with around our house. On a whim we brought them on a recent camping trip to Yosemite, again, just for the kids. They ended up saving our ass! It turns out cell phones don’t work in most of Yosemite valley! It was the only way we could communicate when we were separated. These walkie talkies are no joke, they have insane range…miles and miles. Really good value for the price, and great quality.

We have tried several walkie talkies on our property (22 acres with lots of trees) but end up returning because they do not work. We purchased this product to be used when traveling with our RV when parking and other general use. Prior to taking them on our recent trip we tested them on our property. They worked great! We were able to communicate at various points of our property with clarity. Needless to say they work great when traveling! We plan to purchased another set for home and keep this set in the RV.

We bought these based on their good reviews and previous people having used them at Yosemite. We took them on an 11-day trip to the Petrified Forest, Grand Canyon, Yosemite, and Sequoia Parks where our party was split between two vehicles and they worked perfectly! I’m so glad we got them as our cell signal was nonexistent at the parks and these helped us to communicate back and forth and play road trip games with our travel companions in the other car. Definitely recommend and will likely purchase another set for more people in our party next year.
