I waited before writing this review because I did not want to. But, if I don’t Amazon.com will keep reminding me to write one. I don’t remember the sellers name, but it was not Duracell. If Amazon has the sellers name-I hope they put it here. The seller took what appeared to be old used and opened Duracell battery packages and filled them with batteries. The packages were of different sizes and different variations. My thoughts are the seller bought batteries in bulk and then filled old packages with new batteries. I had 8 and 12 battery packages. One 12 battery package only had 11 batteries and all had been opened. The batteries all had 2023 dates on them, but the batteries were scratched up. When I complained to the seller via email, he responded with a short email saying he would look into it. Several days later, I got another assortment of Duracell batteries in varying size packages in the mail, but never heard anything back from the seller. It was not worth it to me, to push the issue any farther. I have used several of the batteries and they all had extremely short life spans. Next time I order, I will order from a sellers name that I recognize. If I recall, this seller had a 91 or 92 percent good feedback rating. Gave the seller a 2 star rating because I have gotten some use out of the batteries.

My wife, Diane, recently bought herself a waterproof karaoke microphone to use in the shower, and she has apparently really taken to it. This is a surprise to me, as I have never known her to take much of an interest in singing, but I like to support her hobbies whenever I can.

Anyway, normally, I buy these in the 2-pack, but she is spending a lot more time in there lately (move over, Susan Boyle!!) and has really been burning through the batteries, so I decided it might be better to buy in bulk. Duracell is always our go-to brand for batteries, as they seem to last the longest, and be the most reliable. My wife says these outlast the dollar store brand by a long shot.

I’m really happy Diane has found a creative interest to pursue. She seems so much happier now, and she’s really beginning to hit some high notes!

I’ve bought Duracells for years. I got two packages of these around the end of May. Put them in a 9-battery flashlight which is very bright. Worked fine, but oddly didn’t last as long as my previous Duracells. So I put in the rest of what was left from the first package and a couple from the other in the flashlight approximately a month ago. Used the flashlight to walk my dog for half an hour three times. Then I got ready to walk her again, and the flashlight wouldn’t turn on. It hadn’t even been a month since I’d put the new ones in. Finally got the flashlight opened, and the batteries had leaked all over the inside of a $50 flashlight. I took several photos, but can’t figure out how to get them from my phone to my computer. Trust me; it was a holy mess. Wrote to Duracell a week ago. Never heard back. And missed my Amazon return window, so I am screwed. I now have 14 Duracells left that I am afraid to use. Energizers for me from now on. Just takes one bad experience like this to lose faith in both Amazon and Duracell. Somebody is responsible for this, and it isn’t me.

I recently submitted my first ever defective battery claim to Duracell & was pleasantly surprised at the way they handled my claim. They really do stand behind their product and go out of their way to make the claims experience as painless and hassle free as possible.

We used these for small things requiring AA Batteries and most did NOT WORK at all. The few that did work, barely lasted a day! I don’t know where these came from, but they are useless. I guess I better go buy them at a local store from now on! I do love Amazon, but that’s what I get for ordering EVERYTHING from Amazon.

Just used these new AA that I purchased from Amazon. Says they are good to 2028. They were all dead and had cushion on the ends. Couldn’t use not one. Got them for great grandsons new cars. Boy were they disappointed when we had no working batteries. Batteries in box are AAA. Outside box are my AA’s which are ready to be thrown away. How sad for 3 & 4 yr olds.

Although I purchase this product, the quality has been lowered considerably. In my mind the reason is quite simple, I never know when these batteries will “leak.” Examples: I did not realize that a battery was on my OAK floors until I found two. White powder was all over that particular area and there was nothing that I know of that would correct it! Of course, this powder is damaging, caustic, and can be a danger, in that condition, around children AND adults. I was asked to write a review so here it is. 99.9% of my surveys are positive but I would not be honest to do be positive about this product. I have found this condition in toys, clocks…well, just about anywhere. And I do NOT leave a battery in unless I am using it. However, I do not EVER know what I will find when I take the lid off. I have a special, hidden brush that I use to clean the contacts after the “soiled” batteries are removed. But there have been a few times that the contacts were damaged beyond repair. This means I have to make sure that batteries are removed if object not in use and if IN USE, I have to try and be diligent by checking battery condition frequently. This is, frankly, time consuming AND just should not be! This product should be in higher quality as it was in the past!

The only issue is the price. But I prefer batteries that last longer.
