What do you folks not get about melamine? It plainly tells you that’s what they are made of. These are fine. I’ve had a set over 2 years and have no issues with them. Yes they are made of melamine. Obviously not glass. These are for people that are looking for a lighter weight bowl.

If you’re illiterate like I am, you might not know that “melamine” = “plastic”. Although I thought I was ordering china (or at least “ceramic”), this actually worked out just fine for my brood. They seem to be durable – great for little kids – AND they look fancier than they are. The kiddos feel quite sophisticated eating family dinner.
Consider us surprised, but happy.

I ordered one set and thought they would match my dinner set which I bought from Macy’s. I am so disappointed when I received them. These bowls look so cheap. They are not bone china. They are not original Lenox goods! They are plastic bowls with butterfly print.
They are not real Lenox! I would like give 0 START at all!

My elderly mother needed plates that were lightweight. She walks with a cane and heavy stoneware was hard to lift and carry to the table with her plate full of food. These plates fit the need beautifully. I love that they are Lenox and at first glance you cant tell they are melamine. I am going to get the bowls for her for Easter.

These are the perfect size for cereal bowls, and bite sized pasta dinners. They are lighter than ceramic so that took getting used to but is what we expected. The design is very pretty and my daughters love them and my sons don’t care how the cereal gets to their mouth just that it does haha. I ordered two sets and are quite pleased, I don’t think these will break easily and plan on ordering the Matching China ones as we can, and having pretty dishes for a change, but he kids will continue to use these so as not to break the expensive ones.

I really love the Lenox collection I have some Christmas items and thought I’d try the Butterfly Meadow melamine collection and so far so good we hand wash them and have them nicely set on table with the matching table linens. This is not the glass set its melamine and I’m sure it will last a long time if washed as directed and not microwaved!

I have a collection of Lenox butterfly meadow and they came with Lenox box every time I order it on Amazon or somewhere else but this time it isn’t. I am wondering why.

I love these bowls. We eat breakfast & lunch in the warm weather on a glass table outside. The bowls look pretty but are durable melamine. The size is great for cereal, yogurt & fruit, salads & soups.

Good as working bowls. Goes with my Lenox Butterfly Meadow china pattern.
I was pretty disappointed with the bowls I received. They looked so nice in the picture but when I got them they seemed very cheaply made. I thought since it had the Lenox name on them they would be especially nice. When I started using them was the worst part though, they are light color inside and when I ate my cereal my spoon left marks all over the bowl where I had been scooping up my bites of cereal.😞 I wasn’t being rough just eating normally, I thought maybe it would come off with washing but it has only gotten worse with use. It’s not my silverware, they haven’t done this to anything else. I’m bummed because I thought they were really pretty. I tried taking a picture but the bowls reflected the light and the marks didn’t show up well. I guess they would work if you ate popcorn or things like that out of them. Take note they are made of melamine ( that’s kinda like a hard plastic material if you have never heard of that). I had melamine years ago and my silverware never made marks on it.

Los tazones son muy lindos, idénticos a las imágenes al igual que los colores. Muy hermosos.
