I love this Bodum Tea for One, glass and infuser! It doubled wall glass keeps my tea warm. It’s easy to use. Just place the infuser in the glass, add your loose tea, add hot water and place the lid on the glass and watch your tea brew. It is also easy to clean.

I absolutely love this! So easy to use and it does just what it’s supposed to. Didn’t have loose tea leaves to use so I used a tea bag, but I really love the convenience of having the tea strainer to use and then just lift it out with the used tea bag when done. What I especially love about this is the double-wall glass… My tea was piping hot and yet I felt very little of the heat when I picked up the glass and held it while sipping it. The glass wasn’t hot to my hands at all, just mildly warm and comfortable. Can’t even say that about my favorite coffee mugs :). This may even replace my favorite coffee mug for just that reason. Love that it has a top that can be used while making the tea and also to cover the glass between sips as well. At some point, I’m going to give it a try with coffee grounds and see how it fares. I’m thinking it would do a good job with the tea strainer since the netting on it is very fine and small. Great product, definitely recommend.

This is a nice quality tea mug. The double wall
glass is thick. The infuser works well and is
easy to wash. My tea stayed hit until it was gone.
I will look to purchase these as gifts for my
tea drinking friends.

Tea for one sounds good but this 12 oz cup will hold only 8 oz unless you want to spill hot tea over your hands. It also does not have a grip/handle so you have to hold onto the cup with your fingers, which I found difficult due to the shape of the cup (I have small hands). Your tea will stay hot, especially with the lid attached. The strainer seems overkill since the cup is so small and the strainer will hold enough loose tea for a much larger cup if not a whole pot. I needed a new strainer and will use it (and the cover) for my other Bodum and general tea items so not all is lost. I will probably use the cup as a juice glass.

I will start by saying that I do really enjoy this cup. It is a convenient design to make a cup of tea using your favorite loose leaf tea. The glass itself is beautiful and I really enjoy drinking from it. It does lose heat a bit quicker, but I usually drink my tea fairly quickly so that isn’t an issue. The only negative I can say is that it is very fragile, and I feel that it could easily be broken, it is glass after all. If that happens I would still purchase a replacement being the pros out weigh the cons.

The cup is very nice…nice look and everything. It is thin and I am afraid if I drop it..it would prob shatter everywhere.
It does not get hot due to the double insulation…which is very nice

I am absolutely in love with bodum’s Tea for One! I don’t know if you have tried to make loose tea with all those other contraptions, from the infusion balls, to enclosed spoons, to the little baskets, etc. All left loose tea leaves in my tea. This was not what I was looking for at all. Enter the Tea for One. The design is clever and elegant. I am thrilled with this cup. It is all so very simple. A beautiful glass, a filter, and a top cover. That’s it. You easily place your loose tea in the filter. Then, place the filter in the glass. Pour hot water into the glass over the tea in the filter. Place the lid on top to allow the tea to steep. Viola! The perfect cup (glass) of tea. Genius! I highly recommend it to all other loose leaf tea drinkers out there.

I love the double wall of this mug as it keeps the mug itself cool to the touch. In fact I felt it and could not feel any heat and then promptly burned my tongue on the hot liquid. It took a few seconds for my brain to adjust.
The strainer part is great and I used a regular tea bag as I did not have any loose tea. Some of my favorite teas come in the loose form so this will be a good excuse to get some more.
The mug is a bit smaller than my regular mugs as I love giant mugs of coffee or tea but it is still large enough to hold a lot of your favorite drink.

It’s a beautiful set for a tea lover. I like the tea strainer that I am using with leaf tea. And I love to use the double wall cup for my coffee too. The cup is very cute. Also it arrived in a nice box. So I would say that it can make a perfect gift for a tea lover.

The Bodum Tea for One set is great for Tea lovers like myself. The infuser works great! It also fits in other tea cup I have. The lid and double wall glass keep the tea hot while brewing. This set makes tea for one super easy! The set is dishwasher safe so it is very easy to clean. Highly recommend this set.
