Really pleased with the quality of these curtains. They’re definitely room darkening, which is what we needed, but the color and texture of the fabric are not dark or heavy. I also really appreciated that I could take these straight out of the packaging, give them a shake, and hang them up without any noticeable wrinkles. So easy!

I was looking for a simple, clean set of curtains to blackout a bedroom that gets a lot of natural light. I looked to the reviews for guidance as I didn’t want to spend a lot of money, but needed something that actually works. The reviews for this item described a product of high quality that’s easy to care for and looks great. When I received the item the first problem was the creases. The curtains are basically a flexible plastic-like opaque material on one side with a pattern and some texture on the other side. They are not fabric. Because of the plastic-like texture, the creases were immediately an issue – they had been folded in packaging and I could not get the creases out. I ironed, steamed (both by hand and in the drier) and they were still unusable. I took them to a dry cleaner and their industrial machines tried to press/iron out the creases but couldn’t. They even tried to dry clean them to make the material more flexible before trying to press them. That made a significant difference but didn’t remove the creases. The reviews that say “the creases came right out!” are definitely not posted in good faith. There’s no way that this item is the same item they’re describing – even if they had improved it and released a newer version (which is what I always think when I see dramatically different reviews), there’s no way these reviews are valid. The next issue came with the hanging. The curtains appear to be easy to install when you look at the rod pocket and tabs, but the way that they’re stitched makes it incredibly difficult to get them on a rod. The plastic-like material is also very rigid so that doesn’t help. The best thing I can say about them? They do seem to blackout the room, so that’s good. And the color does add a little bit of “warmth” to the room. But the actual quality of the item is pretty terrible. Would suggest a hard stop before buying and continue to look for something of a higher quality – even if you pay more you’ll be getting a much better deal because the material and construction of this piece is just terrible. I definitely would have paid more had I known about the time I would spend trying to make these acceptable – not to mention the extra money I paid to professionals to try to make them look decent.
