Very happy, so far is working great, looks to be well made. Did some cad work and 3D and it handle it with no problems. Have not tried any rendering yet…

Good, no issues, works nice. Stylus works well despite being small. I like the keyboard despite no 10-key. Screen is nice, I like that it can move.

I’m on my 2nd day with this laptop and.. This laptop heats up and gets kinda loud. I was surprised at how loud and how hot it got at times. Like really hot on 3 occasions and its only day 2.
In terms of features, its amazing for what it can do. It has fingerprint, two ways to turn on the laptop, tablet mode is gr8 (addicting). The colors are very true. Its indeed has gr8 sRGB color accuracy.
The speakers aren’t the loudest so keep that in mind. My phone gets louder than this speaker.
The battery life is not as great as I thought it would have been. Every few hours I do have to plug the charger in. So far it probably gives about 4-5 hours use
I’m yet to run heavy software and really put this machine to the test but these are some stuff I noted on day 2 of using this machine.

The laptop is beautiful, by its specs it can take Photoshop comfortably (and for that the price is good), the color gamut is 100%RGB, but the machine I got was a dud. Acer’s 24-7 technical support was excellent and BH upon receiving the laptop (1 day by FedEx) quickly refunded my money. I am thinking of buying the product again, but on the dud, the battery pack did not light when plugged in and the power button on the side was so shallow I wondered if it too was broken.

First on to the excessive heat and fan noise. Microsoft OnerDrive looks to be the culprit and not a hard drive issue. My computer would get hot and loud after about 10 – 30 minutes of use. The system monitor would actually show that it was at 203 degrees with most of the total RAM being occupied. This made the computer loud from the cooling fan, hot, and slow for certain actions. By slow I mean the File Manager would not open files. A simple request to open This PC, Desktop, Documents, etc. would take forever and I would restart the computer but eventually the same issues would arise. Even on my older HP laptop my OneDrive cloud space was full and I do not pay for more space. I noticed that I would always get warnings that OneDrive was trying to Sync but was full. One day while my Acer was hot and loud I opened the Task Manager and discovered that the Microsoft OneDrive was using the highest amount of CPU and Memory, about 30-45% on average. Even more than my Adope Lightroom Classic and Photoshop programs use. Once I ended the OneDrive program the CPU and Memory usage decreased, the fan went down to silent, the laptop would be physically cold or warm at most, and I can open files as normal. Ultimately I had to go into Microsoft OneDrive settings and deselect auto-sync or whatever that setting is. If you don’t do this you will have to End Task Microsoft OneDrive every time you use the computer. With Auto-Sync deactivated I no longer have any issues with heat, noise and opening programs; it functions as expected.
Now onto my user review. I’ve been using this laptop for since June and I really like it. I primarily bought it to edit photos using Lightroom Classic and Photoshop. It has been great for this purpose and others. I use the pen to dodge and burn my photos which is much easier and more natural than using a mouse. I feel like I’m drawing in the highlights and shadows which again feels more natural. I actually use my left hand on the wheel of the mouse to adjust the size of my brush while simultaneously drawing with the pen in my right hand. Its also fun to draw using the included basic illustrator program.
– The computer turns on nice and quick with smooth operation
– I love the ability to tilt and adjust the screen
– It’s a bit heavy but feels well made; solid
– The white surface feels good to the touch and is easy to clean
I’m glad I bought it and I hope my can help others with the heat and noise issue.

Great piece of equipment, no regrets on this purchase but unfortunate that I need to do the windows 11 update.
