Blanket is very soft, however even on level 6, blanket barely gets warm. Not worth the expensive price. Returning promptly.

I bought this because of the low-voltage rating, and there was a $20 coupon that brought it into the same range as most other throws. The low-voltage was important as we have knob and tube wiring in parts of our (VERY) old house, and so we have to be respectful of the load limit for our electrical set-up.
I like that the cord can be detached so it can be used as a regular throw. Which when used in that capacity it does a nice job and is quite soft. It can be hard to tell, but the throw has a soft, almost fur-like, side, as well as an almost faux lambs’ wool side. The controls are also intuitive, having only two (2) buttons to press.
What I could see as needing improving is that the blanket doesn’t heat all over at once. Now, I’m no expert in electric blankets by any means (this is actually my first), but it seems that it should heat evenly. If there is a bunched up part, that part will be VERY warm, while there will be other sections that are only mildly warm. The control panel also heats up when in use, which can get almost uncomfortably hot. The panel is made of plastic and rubber, so this may be a potential point of failure.
Overall, it is a fairly nice blanket on its own, with the benefit of being electrified if you need it to be. If you can find it, as I did, with the coupon? Give it a whirl! If not, it may still be worth it for you, but please keep in mind the caveats I laid out above. It won’t work miracles, but will do the job. At least so far…

Nice size lap size perfect for couch or on top of bed. Prefect for a warm wrap up when its cccoold. It has 6 levels with 6 being the warmest. It also has a max. of 4 hours per setting so its never left on when un-needed.. I love this cozy warm blanket that helps my feet and lower legs get warm (I have circulation issues that give me painful cold feet and lower legs) It can also be used as warm up wrap too. This was a life changer for me. My feet never get painfully cold anymore. I sometimes use it to warm my lower back in bed when needed.
THIS IS PERFECT ELECTRIC BLANKET YOU WILL ABSOLUTELY LOVE.

I have used this blanket every day and every night since I got it. It’s very cozy and warm and when I use it I fall asleep very quickly. I do regret buying the throw size because it’s very short and doesn’t cover my feet and entire body at the same time. I should have gotten a bigger one but for the size this one is warm! I love that it has levels of warm ness from 1-6 so I can set it for how cold I am. It does only have a four hour timer on it which is annoying because I have to get up every 4 hours and put more time on it or it shuts off but if you’re just using it on your couch then that’s probably the perfect amount of time and a wonderful safety feature in case you forget about it. If it gets folded over or balled up it does register that it’s gotten too hot and turns itself off. My cats also give it 2 paws up and sleep on it every night with me. I really like this throw.

The throw is soft and is barely warm enough to be called a warming throw. However, once again these items barely last three to four months. This one is so poorly made that the wiring came apart, threw sparks and had I not seen it do this could have easily started a fire. When do we stop supporting this garbage from China.

It is soft but I can buy a soft blanket -it only heated at the top four inches of the throw- I bought a more expensive throw because I wanted to get quality -very disappointed I will be returning.
