To my fellow Arteza Gel Pen Aficionados,
I opened up a dry TĹ«l pen the other day, and stuck an Arteza ink rod in it, pretending I was writing with the expensive Tul. It worked. The strokes were bolder than thin restrained Tul. My writing was generous, unrestrained, proud. Shame on me for my hypocrisy. So you know what? I took my empty Arteza pen out, replaced the ink rod back in its chamber and showed the world that I’m an Arteza User, darn it! I buy 30 pens for the price most fools pay for 3 and THESE PENS ARE BETTER. Have a nice day.

Cosa devo dire?

These pens are very smooth, extremely pigmented and comfortable to hold. I really like the combination of blue and black pens.

On the other hand, I got these pens on Black Friday, and it was a great decision. I recommend these pens to anyone who wants an overall above “average” pen. I haven’t had them long enough to give a review about the longevity, but there is 30 in the pack so, I wouldn’t worry about that too much.

The ink flow is great, no excessive bleeding or “clogging” at the tip (I don’t know the exact name for that, but it doesn’t build up at the tip and cause smearing, etc). The ink does dry quickly, but it depends on the type of paper you’re using. Now, a standard 5 Star notebook or even a Mead notebook is probably as cheap as you can get and expect the pen not to smear. Some paper has a more glossy feel and it will smear (for example, Bazic brand paper), but any other type of paper that’s a bit less smooth will take the ink well.

I did a smear test with a 5 Star notebook (grid version). Arteza did not disappoint because it dries quickly, or immediately rather. I also did a smear test in a Bazic composition notebook, and yes it smeared (and that is because of what I mentioned before. The paper is smooth.)

Overall, this a great pen and I recommend. I guess I will do a update after using them for about a week or so.

EDIT!! So, those these pens are excellent, it runs out very quickly. Day 3 with these pens—running out already.

Great pen and inexpensive I use the quite a bit. The ink lasts for quite a long time of use. Writing with it is almost as smooth for the cost.

The pens are soooo smooth. I adore these pens, they would make a great gift if you can part with them. This is why you have to buy this big 30 pack so you can part with a few without feeling regret. I will be buying this again once I run out, now all I need is a .5 fine point gel pen from Arteza.

I will say initially, the pens are very smooth and consistent. The line was great, and I loved them. However, after not much use, the pens start to act as if they’ve run out of ink. The line is scratchy and inconsistent and often you need a scrap paper to scribble on to get the ink flowing again. I’m very disappointed in how these have turned out since initially they were so great.

I work in a resturant, We’re always told about the Pilot G2s, but those are expensive!!! I’ve used Arteza for their art supplies before so trusted them for good gel pens, and I was Not disappointed! I used up all like 24 of the first pack, so I bought a 2nd!

Another review mentioned it started to write like it was running out of ink. I agree- but it’s rare. Only had that problem with 1 or 2, and at the price I tossed it and grabbed a fresh one!

So far I’ve used the same pen from the pack for about 2 months! Sometimes you loose them and get a new one after a few hours like any other pen. Definetally a good purchase!

I ordered this frame to have my clients sign papers for our meetings. Initially they worked great. But after few usage the sheerness started to fade. They are writing so uneven. Leaks sometimes in all over the paper. It ruins my signing and leaves bad impression for me that I use bad pens. Won’t be ordering them again.

These pens are horrible. The only way I can get any ink out of them is to hold each perpendicular to the paper which is artificial and very uncomfortable. I need gel pens as I am disabled and have pain in my hands so I need a pen I can grip and hold easier than most. In addition with these pens the ink does not come out at all unless you use a scratch paper and draw lines over and over and over. Even then it is hit and miss whether you will get an even flow of ink on your paper.
