I am so happy that this is the down jacket I ordered after all of my research! It is lightweight but very warm and fits perfectly. I have a problem with the hoods on these jackets, as they always fall down in front of my eyes. But it is a perfect , casual, warm and really cute jacket!

This is a good down jacket for weather in the 30’s & 40’s. I live in the mid-Atlantic and it’s been my go-to this season. I normally wear a small and this fit perfectly. I like the length because it’s long enough to keep me warm but still not a coat length. It’s light weight. The hood and pockets are a good size. I ordered both the Iris and the Chalky and decided on the Iris which is as pictured. All-in-all, I’m very happy with the purchase.

This jacket is lightweight but extremely warm. I live in Minnesota and this is my everyday jacket during the winter. The arms are longer which is appreciated and there is a cuff also so no cold can sneak in. It’s sleek looking and the cranberry color is rich and luxurious. I love that the fur on The good can be flipped down for added protection on windy days. I love this jacket!

This jacket does not have 1) a drawstring on the hood, 2) a two-way zipper, or 3) 100% down.
It has 1) a hood with no drawstring at all, 2) a regular zipper, and 3) 60% down and 40% feather.
I stood outside in 40 degrees for about 10 minutes, and my torso started to cool off. Not the performance I expected from a 150-dollar coat.
I wanted to like it: the color is wonderful, and it fits great with and without layers underneath. I just can’t justify the expense on a coat that I can’t rely on all winter.

This is a really cute coat, I ordered it in the “beet” red color and it’s very bright and pretty. Fit was as expected for this brand, overall the jacket is well made and the silver/black faux fur trim on the hood is very stylish. However, as someone who gets cold easily, the lightweight feel of the jacket felt more like it would be for fall or spring temperatures and I just didn’t see it keeping me warm on frigid winter days. While I was trying it on there were also pieces of the down insulation making their way through the fabric shell of the jacket. (Not a deal-breaker for me personally; I have another Columbia that does the same thing and after a few times being washed that goes away.) The zippers on the outside pockets also seem very dainty… probably to give it a more sleek look but over time I wonder how well they would hold up. Overall this is a very nice-looking jacket, unfortunately due to some design issues I would not give it 5 stars and ended up ordering the Columbia Lay D Down II jacket instead.

I bought this for my wife. She followed the directions for washing, and the down inside balled up and made it unwearable.

Loved the color …. but, it was too short for me. I am 5’10” ..
So, i returned it. Kinda bummed out… it was a good price!

The hood is huge! Front of it comes down to my nose! Says in the description hood comes with adjustable drawstring they forgot to put it in when being made at factory. Zipper sometimes grabs the material on jacket when zipping up. Other then that seems ok. Just real bummer about the hood part. Guess I’ll have find a seamstress to do something with it. 🙁

I was pleasantly surprised when I got this jacket that the fur on the hood folds over so you can make the hood cover more or less of your face. This ran big… for reference I am 5’5, 135 pounds, usually wear size 4. I ordered a small and it was big enough that I could’ve worn several layers underneath it, and it was not a flattering fit. Also, I ordered the Chalk color and when I first put it on I thought it was stained or something but then realized it was just the darker down feathers showing through the fabric. I added a pic for reference. If I had ordered a darker color maybe you wouldn’t be able to see through it. I will be returning for a darker color and smaller size.

Very nice fit. Most coats make you look frumpy if you are a 2x. This was very flattering on. Keeps you warm on very cold windy days.
