I was hoping, since this is supposed to be a full coverage creme, that this would do the trick to cover a hypotrophic (white) scar. But not only did it fail to cover but did not last past about 5 hours. Plus, the color leans more on the yellow side and is not really a true neutral. I plan on returning it.

I grew up under the 60’s’ sun, never having heard of sunscreen. Now, there’s no escaping those damaging effects. If that wasn’t bad enough, I also have Lupus. Out of the blue, I’ll wake up some mornings & there’s dark red splotches, usually around my eyes that simply defy camouflage. This product is a game changer!! It works so well that no one comes up to me anymore, asking if the spots on my face were cancer or a birth mark!!! Bless you, Dermablend!

This product is NOT for oily complexions. Not to mention, it claims that its not transferable but it certainly is!!! And yes, I used the setting powder as directed! If I touch my face and touch a piece of paper, BAM, there is foundation on the paper! I’m not happy with this product at all. I know that I have oily skin but this makes it 10 times worse. I really wanted this to work but Im going back to my makeup forever!

I’m 24 YO and I struggled badly with acne in my teen years— and my approach to skincare was doing more harm than good.
This means my skin has gone from being severely scarred & textured with enlarged pores, to slowly healing over time; resulting in a much smoother and more supple base.
Upon first impression, this product was my worst nightmare— cakey, thick, and it clumped into my enlarged pores BADLY. I tried a variety of skin prep techniques before giving in to the idea that my skin just may have been TOO textured for a product with this consistency. It looked great on *parts* of my face, and is buildable from a more light-medium coverage into full (which I appreciate).
NOW, months later, I’m back after wearing it all day to say this: IF YOU SUFFER FROM SEVERE TEXTURE, this product MAY not work for you! It is sitting well now, but my skin’s texture has *noticeably* changed since the last (dozen or so times) I tried to wear it. It’s a great product but $40 is too much to be unable to use

I use dermablend to cover the port wine bruises on my arms. It works perfectly. Is waterproof & doesn’t wear off.
