I bought this because of the rave reviews and was super excited to use it. First impression- nice soft lather but it rinses with that awful cheap bar soap feeling that feels like residue on your face. After I got out of the shower I noticed a rash forming on my face. Tea tree oil is a good antiseptic but can trigger atopic dermatitis. Even without the rash i wouldn’t recommend because it my skin felt so dry and had a weird residue. Perhaps this would work on very oily skin with no sensitivities. If you want a bar soap for the face I think the shea moisture African black soap is so much better.

I have used this for years. I have extremely oil skin that is acne prone. I started getting hormonal acne after I quit oral BC, but this fixes everything!
Every so often I will try a new face wash that I get a sample of or fall into the hype and I instantly regret it- breakouts sneak back almost immediately. As soon as I switch to back to this my skin is completely breakout free again. Not over drying. Super simple and easy to travel with.

after reading all the good reviews of this line, i purchased the cleansing bar, serum, and moisturizer and used them twice a day everyday for a little over a month now and my skin has NEVER in my life bend more dry, dull, flakey, and bumpy. it’s extremely congested and i have acne all over which i haven’t had in 5 years! it’s awful! please don’t waste your money. these products are cheap for a reason.
