Crushed Lip Color

I came to my Ulta store in search for a new lipstick and saw that they had 40% off lipsticks celebrating National lipstick day. However, when I was looking at some Lancome lipsticks, an Ulta associate introduced to me the Bobbi Brown crushed lip color ones and she said that they were her favorite. I saw the color swatches on her hand and picked up shade Brownie as it looked nice on her hand. Even though this lipstick is not part of the National lipstick day promo, I really liked how it looks on my lips and also how it feels. For reference, I am in Florida, a bit tan and work from home. I don’t usually wear lipsticks at home because most of them are drying. and it’s super humid so it just means I have to drink a lot more to retain water.
I also tried other brands like Honest and Rare Beauty as they are supposed also be moisturizing but this one is by far one of my favorites. I am so glad I gave this a try and feel like this could be a great every day lipstick If you want a natural, MLBB look, this one is worth a try. If you want a full glam, photography friendly lipstick, this may not be the lipstick you want to use for those moments as it probably won’t show up well as it does fade.
Overall, I recommend this for daily wear, office or WFH (if you are on Zoom and don’t need to be super glam). I don’t recommend this for photo shoots or if you’re going out somewhere fancy as this lipstick does fade.

This is a long lasting lipstick that has a color that really packs a punch, Looks especially great in the cold northeast winter months when it gets dark early and is oh so cold. I would definitely recommend giving it a try,
