I use this brush for both my foundation and my concealer. The application is so smooth and does not leave streaks. I love how soft the brush is and the way it distributes my product easily. I use the Tarte Amazonian Clay foundation and Shape Tape. Although this is not a concealer brush, I enjoy using it to distribute concealer under my eyes and dabbing it out with a moist beauty blender so the sponge doesn’t absorb all of my product. If they have a more precise brush like this, I will be buying it.

Handle flakes off and makes a horrible mess.

I like this brush for the most part. It’s densely packed, and does a good job of blending. This is definitely more suited for thick foundations than for light, thin formulas, because the bristles will soak up way too much of the more watery foundations. Is this my absolute favorite brush? No, but it’s a solid one. If it’s on sale, I recommend getting it.

So far the brush works nicely with the babassu foundation formula. Gives me medium to full coverage. Soft. Nice, I like it I would recommend

1. The handle does flake and shed— I wrapped packing tape around mine and no issues.
2. Now onto the review. I HATE foundation brushes (Sponge girl here) but this might convert me. Every single foundation I have ever applied with this look flawless. I don’t even use Tarte foundations, I primarily use drugstore foundations. It is so soft, dense, and honestly, amazing. It has applied creams and liquid foundations, though I would argue it does better with creams but is awesome with both. If you need a good, foolproof starter brush, this is it. I have actually repurchased it so when I’m too lazy to wash my brush, I always have another one.
Seriously, wrap the handle, and then you will not regret this.
