I’m not tech savvy, so please don’t expect a CNET review! My first favorable impression was the sturdiness of this laptop. I guess it’s the all aluminum frame/casing. The display is much more vivid than my previous laptop (ASUS). The sound quality is excellent, as is the battery life. My old laptop had an i3 processor, where this HP Envy x360 has an i5, and it is so much faster!
I thought I would miss the built in number pad and resolved to buy an external keypad. So far, that’s not the case as I have gotten used to using the top keys. That may change come tax time. The same goes for an external cd drive. I’ll wait until I really need one.
I cannot end before mentioning the excellent sale price. This is a bargain you simply cannot pass up.

Great laptop for teaching (preparing presentations, lessons etc.). Boots up quickly with little/no delays pulling up/saving files/programs and is compatible with every device that I have paired it with to date (ie printers, projectors etc.). This model has 8GB Memory and 256GB SSD. I thought about purchasing the model with 12GB Memory and 512GB SSD. But… I’m not a gamer so 8GB of Memory is plenty for me and most of my photos and movies are saved in the cloud or an external drive so I’m not all that concerned with storage.

This is a very sleek and efficient and aesthetically pleasing laptop. This was purchased for school and my graphic design business, I was able to get it a discounted price- I paid $589. I am overall happy with the size, capabilities, ram, and storage space. It also has facial recognition. If I need to increase the hardware space in the future this is an option as well. I’ve notice that the volume is not all that loud unless you are using headphones which I always carry with me. This is a great product for IT professionals as well.

Envy did not meet my specific needs but while I had it, it was a great laptop. Touch screen, backlit keyboard (if I’m describing that right), and plenty of desirable features. It has cloud app if a person wants that, but while I do not, it was easy to turn off without any hassle or wasted time looking how to do so. I needed a computer with more power for the programs I need for work but still felt this laptop was worth the money and would have kept it otherwise.

just finished setting up. excellent deal at $350 off. fast processing with multiple apps and windows already running, excellent graphics and sound, easy set-up. love the touchscreen and back lit keyboard.
note- there is no number pad to the right
installing included trial of anti virus software was confusing
