Wow now this is a great must have accessory for your Dremel! Quick release swap out super fast! I use the heck out of this, it is my go to cutter wheel! The only negative I have is I didn’t get it sooner!!! I use this on my cars new and old! I have a classic car that often needs things cut to fit, old rusted bolts to be removed and this kit has been a life saver in time and it’s Dremel quality! I have used it from metal to plastic and has worked flawlessly! I definitely recommended if you do any cutting with your Dremel you pick up this set! Comes with a variety different discs to choose from 8 in total, quick change chuck/attachment and a nice reusable box! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

I have used this product in the past with other attachments. When using the cut off wheels when they get to small to use it’s easy to change to a new one within a matter of minutes. Love the quick change of the EZ Lock Cutting Micro Kit the first time I use the EZ lock system I did not think it would hold up well but I was wrong it’s more forgiving than the screw type that tend to break when they get in to a bind. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

The quick changing cutoff disks save time and are a really nice feature. The cutting and grinding ability of these disks are excellent and made a difficult job much easier. I was able to cut new HO scale rail sections quickly and squarely. The flat side of the cutting disk allowed me to smooth up the underside and inside of the rails to ensure a flush fitting rail joiner connection without burrs. The plastic, metal and general cutting blades can accomplish so much more than than smaller diameter blades, yet the thin blades show no sign of binding on thicker material. Overall I found this kit to be very helpful. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars was because I saw a lot of wear on the blade I used after just 1 project but it still works, I’m just not sure overall how long they will last as I haven’t had them for too long yet. I love the EZ lock feature and found it easy to change between blades and it was easy to ensure they were secure without having to use other tools to tighten them. I used the blades to cut down some metal shelving I had received from a job site that I wanted to re-purpose for garage and basement storage. The shelving was about 1/8″ thick and the wheel I used did a great job of cutting through the material and leaving a clean cut that I was able to smooth out with another one of my dremel accessory tools. I made about 50 cuts through the entire project and all were pretty easy to do. The wheel does look a bit worn after the project but it still works well so as to the longevity of the product I cannot speak but it did what I needed it to do. Overall I am happy with the product and the results I got and I love that it comes in a nice, compact storage case that fits easily in my tool bag or that I can hang on a hook on my peg board. I have purchased quite a few of these quick easy lock cutting wheels. They are super great for projects that have required me to cut down screws that were either too long or just bothersome. I love how easy it is to switch from one blade to another!
