Horrible burn in. It happen few month after I bought this TV. LG did replace my screen. I was promised it should not happen again. It dod, few months later, please see attached picture. It could take a chance or you could consider buying different TV

I am hard to please with TVs. Many of them cause me motion sickness, headaches and the sound can be problematic due to tinnitus (ringing in the ears.)
I was hesitant to spend more on the C1 but am so glad I did. The color pops, the brightness is more than enough and the motion is silky smooth. Multiple 2.1 HDMI ports when the competitions give one at most. Very good sound for such a flat-screen.
This TV is loaded with options and settings to your heart’s content. The menu is streamlined and easier than past OLEDs from years ago I interacted with. The Wifi seems pretty fast for tv too; coming from other LED tv’s I had that took forever to find a signal etc.
If you play games buy this TV. If you watch movies, buy this TV. If you have to deal with the reflections I advise you to make it work any way you can. It literally is worth the work to enjoy the c1 OLED. Most other TVs spreads reflections across the screen while the OLED is a bit more of a mirror. Despite this, I am happy to tolerate it because decades ago CRTs were glass and actually worse.

This TV is honestly AMAZING!!!. I was going back and forth whether to get an OLED or not but I’m glad that I did. The picture is stunning and the sound is really good even if you don’t use a sound bar. I use for gaming and watching movies and both are just great to witness on this TV.

The picture quality is stunning, especially when compared to my old budget 4K LED LCD.
Watching movies and TV shows is incredible the image quality from a 4K HDR source is unlike any other TV I’ve ever owned.
My son also uses this as a gaming TV and he is quite pleased.

Honestly, coming from a 2016 model mid level Sony xbr 4k I often wondered why even a ps5 didnt look great. After sony disabled hdr with 4k with a os update last november only to let it run 1080p hdr i was in the market for a better tv and NOT a Sony for what they pulled and lack of support or even customer services knowledge that the help guide sony has up no longer applies to the update which ruined my tv for me and no way to regain 4k+hdr function.
I, like many others on the fence of oled worried about screen burn in. When i found out via salesperson that geek squad protection will cover screen burn in i jumped the fence to oled. In the magnolia room the samsung q90 couldnt hold a candle to the detail or color on the c1. I believe part of that is how they set them up honestly. But you could tell it was a better picture easily. Maybe its to push LG tv’s but i already was aware that oled produced a better picture quality. But i Bought 5 year geek squad plan and in 5 years i may be in the market for a 8k if more content comes out in 8k.
Enough of that and on to the c1 55 inch i purchased. Only owned it for 10 hours but honestly the picture quality for at least ps5 games looks gorgeous. I went from i can tell resident evil 8 looks like a ps4 game running ps5 version on my sony 4k to blown away on the LG c1. It has a better processor than the cx from last year too and improved on the cx from 2020.
The os is easy to use. Had a update right away but handled it smoothly and quick. Aiming the cursor can get annoying but if you’re in the menu you want just press the arrow keys next to the thumb wheel and you can stop the aim cusor from being used for that time and just use arrow keys.
Handles the ps5 beautifully. I was told if you do longer than 8 hour gaming sessions it has more succeptibility to burn in. You can set static heads up display items to low brightness in the c1’s settings to help avoid burn in as those would be the areas in a game to most likely cause it. But honestly the only game ive done longer than 8 hours is cyberpunk 2077 lol. So i plan on running the pixel refresh tool in the menu if i play for close to 8 hours. Ill just take a break for an hour while its running.
The base is very sturdy if you dont hang it on a wall. Its very wide but very sturdy. Ends up making the tv alot heavier than it already is.
Sound is great for even factory internal speakers. With the ai sound feature enabled i could see a full sound bar really setting the tv off the charts for sound. But honestly it sounds really darn good.
Cant wait to see some more horror games come out for the new consoles because the black levels and realistic lighting and colors should be intense and immersive on this tv.
If youre a gamer and picky about picture quality or how fast it handles an intense online cod battle it handles it with ease. Only thing that slows it down is activisions cod servers lol.
If you have a 2020 lg cx ive heard this ones better by a little. Has a better processor and improved on last years model. If you own neither of the two get the c1 and 5 year geeksquad protection and enjoy this amazing tv.

Fixes the near black detail level issues of last year’s CX. Very slightly brighter than the CX as well. Easily the best TV for gaming money can buy. Noticeably better image quality than even the best LED TVs.

Wow. I upgraded from a samsung ju7100 led tv. Cant go back to an led tv now. Comes with all the latest goodies like hdmi 2.1, hdr10, dolby vision, dolby atmos, NVIDIA G-SYNC and FreeSync Premium
The 4K/upscaled visuals are stunning although i see slight judder in fast moving frames. May be i need to tweak the calibration a bit. Also, the down firing tv speakers are not bad at all.
Biggest plus point- if you’re a console gamer – this tv has super low input lag (i guess its around 1ms or less in game mode). My ps5 and xbx1x response times are insane, the game optimizer menu providing exact settings for the type of gameplay (fps, rpg etc). Point is, its a breeze to play online multiplayer on this tv, youre going to immediately notice the reduction in input lag.
Although probably not a sony level tv to compare the visuals or color accuracy (may be calibration out of the box will match a sony, not sure), but for the features and price point this beats a sony oled.
Downside – comes with a cheap plastic remote – although the remote works well, could have done with some premium material on the remote for a tv that costs $1799. But certainly not a deal breaker.

Incredible TV. ( 55” C1) I use it for streaming and gaming (Xbox Series X and PC). Setup was not difficult but not extremely easy. It does everything well exceedingly so far. The quality is perfect. Airplay works fine too. For PC g-synch worked fine with 3080. Highly recommended if you want a state of the art TV.
Note: I only have it for a few days so my views might change.
