I have been using the Hypervolt GO for a couple of weeks now and all I can say is WOW!!. I used to have a different device that was bigger, heavier and supposedly more powerful, but this massager leaves it way behind. To start, it is super lightweight and very easy to carry wherever and whenever you need. The 3 speed settings helps me find the right percussion I need, giving a powerful, yet quiet therapy. Reading on the device’s manual, I see they call it the QuiteGlide technology and it is very quite indeed, comparing it to my previous massager. I use it to relax my muscles after long walks and even when I wake up with muscle or joint pains. In my particular case, I found the combination of middle speed and the flat head attachment to be the most effective. My husband is starting to use it and he is loving it too! The battery life proved to be just right for both of us to use it without worrying about recharging. Overall, I am very satisfied with this purchase! It’s not easy to find professional grade devices like this at a price range that is accessible for the everyday user. 5 stars and two thumbs up for Hyperice!! They have a great product and a loyal customer from now on! I received this product at a discounted rate in exchange for my honest opinion.

I play golf and hold a lot of tension in my neck and shoulders. Charge this up, plug in 1 of the 2 end options and hold button to turn in and press once. First level is a great entry level. Level 2 and 3 are too fast for me. Make sure to use the correct attachment for each muscle. Try not to lose the attachments also.

So far…its just ok. Its a little light weight for my taste. Cant really press down on it or it’ll slow down. The on/off feature is annoying. Why can’t they use the same switch as the larger model?
I’ve used the Theragun option and I like that one better. I’ll give it a week before I decide to exchange it.

    This thing is awesome.
    THE GOOD
~ It comes with two different changeable heads
    ~ Portable
~ Ergonomic (built well to use on someone else’s back)
    ~ Looks good
    ~ Rechargeable
    ~ Feels sturdy
    THE BAD
    ~ Charger
THE MEH (could go either way)
    ~ weight
I workout and run 6-7 days a week and so this baby comes in handy.
It comes with two different heads, one is rounded and the other a flat disk. You can see them in the pics. The rounded head is great for a deep tissue massage, really getting into a muscle and working out a knot. The flat head is good for a general, feel-good massage where you just have those aches and cramps. It also works a little better on the neck and when crossing bones like the vertebrae and scapula.
The force and speed are great. One thing I really like, too, is the shape. It is easier to hold and apply more pressure to someone’s back (or whatever) because of design than many other massagers.
The massager is a good size. It isn’t too big to pack along for a trip–especially if you’re going somewhere to run a marathon or mudder. I placed a pen on it in one picture to give a reference to size. It is a little heavy. I don’t have a scale, but would guess a pound or a little over. I put that in the MEH because I think the weight helps functionality, but others may prefer something less sturdy feeling.
The only thing I am not a fan of is the charger. I wish it were USB-C. Instead, it is a big block and proprietary charger. HOWEVER, it comes with multiple plug prong sets–so you can take this to Europe or elsewhere where the outlets are different and plug it in without needing an adapter. The plug part pops on and off so you can swap them out.
Overall, I would definitely recommend this to my friends.

    About Hypervolt GO
The Hypervolt GO by Hyperice is a battery-operated handheld percussion massage device. It’s a hold, point, and massage type of therapy with 3 settings to control the level of percussion.
    What It Comes With
Hypervolt GO comes with the handheld massage device, an 18-volt charger, 3 power plug adapters, and 2 head attachments. The charger is specially made for the device, and a universal charger (per instructions) is not recommended. There is no carrying case included.
    Set Up
Hypervolt GO is virtually ready to use out of the box. The instructions tell you to charge it upon opening, but there is some charge when unpacking. To use, insert the chosen attachment head and twist. Then apply the head to the area that you want to massage. There’s one button on the handle that turns the massager on/off or changes the setting. It’s a pretty simple set up.
    Features
There are 3 settings that adjust how hard the massager will percuss (punch). In my opinion, all of them are pretty hard. I was surprised that there wasn’t a slower or softer setting.
There are 2 heads for the device. The flat one spreads out the massage effect. The “bullet” head is used to concentrate on tension points.
The charge is advertised to last for around 2.5 hours of usage. It did well when I tried it, but I didn’t use this for more than 15 minutes the first time. It is a pretty hard percussion, and the instructions say to use on an area for about a minute and move to a different area.
There is an app for the Hypervolt GO. I’m not sure what it would do, and I will not be using it since it is only available on the App Store for Apple products. My phone is Android based, so I don’t have an option.

    My Thoughts
Did I mention enough that this is a hard percussive device? I would not call this a relaxing massager. This is meant for tension knot therapy. It has warnings to not use it on “boney parts” of the body (specifically your head) and that Hypervolt GO can bruise you. If you do bruise yourself using it, it states to let the bruise heal before trying again.
Due to the nature of its design, this is only good for whatever you can “point and shoot” at. If you want to use this for your back, you will need to find someone to help you. If you are looking for something like that Hyperice makes other products that you could check out.
There was some vibration at the handle, but it wasn’t too jarring for me to hold.
I do think that it should have come with a soft carrying case of some kind. It has 3 extra power plug adapters and 2 massage heads. I may keep the box so that I don’t lose them.
I’m giving the Hypervolt GO 4 stars. It does what it is intended to do, but I think that it would be improved if it had slower speeds or softer settings. This product is not for everybody, but I believe it could include more folks with a couple of more gentle settings. A carry case would be helpful to keep things together. The feel and the quality appearance seems to be good.

Absolutely amazing I had the chance of using it straight out the box for about 40-50 minutes which I was so happy. I worked on my shoulders and hamstrings they feel so much better totally worth the investment looking forward to using it after a full charge and see what the Hypervolt app is all about =)
