Funciona muy bien. Si tienes el pelo oscuro el resultado será más rojizo que rubio. Mi pelo es café oscuro pero con tonos rojizos entonces me gustaron los resultados. Si buscas resultados mas rápidos, funciona mejor con la secadora que con el sol. Huele súper rico y deja el pelo suave y brillante.

My best friend and I found this product out in Montauk and it blows Sun-In and lemon juice out of the water. I’m a medium brunette who had golden blonde undertones. My friend is a medium blonde This product took me to caramel with light blonde and platinum streaks and my friend to straight platinum borderline translucent white. I’m addicted to this product. It’s smells amazing too. Do not hesitate to try this product. Coat your hair, hit the sun, we leave it in for hours, and reapply after we swim in the ocean (or pool). Side note: all of Sun Bums products are amazing. Their SPF lip balm is the most delicious with no chemical taste like other SPF lip balms. Their shampoo/conditioner… all of it… bangarang.

I used this on my hair that I dyed black for years. (Although i had not dyed my hair for at least 6 months before using this product)
I sprayed on individual pieces before blow drying a couple times a week, and when I’d go to the beach. It gradually lightened and looks natural.
I didn’t ever make my hair orange like sun in has.

I love sun bum’s detangler for myself and my daughter so I was excited to try another product of theirs. I LOVE this. It truly works (see my before and after photo attached). It arrived Friday and I was so excited to try it that I immediately showered and sprayed it on my damp hair. The next morning I repeated. Then one more time on Sunday. Monday is when I took the photo on the right. As you can see my hair is noticeably lighter and ready for summer! No toxic hair dye needed!

I’ve used various hair lightening (spray in) products over the years and this is,without any doubt,the worst.
I’ve used it four times and my hair is now a lovely brassy shade of orange( my hair colour was medium blonde). Not only that it left my hair feeling sticky,brittle,and dry.Unfortunately I was drawn to the price here….it’s expensive but I thought you get what you pay for right??
Don’t waste your money.There are a lot less expensive products that are so much better.

This is the best thing ever! It is similar to sun-in, but way more effective and doesn’t leave your hair orange. I have dirty blonde/light brown hair that gets a really mousy color if I don’t highlight it. I started using this a year ago, and I have not been to the salon since! My hair is actually blonder than when I get a full head of highlights that costs $100+. It also isn’t just “one note,” it looks like I have natural highlights. My hair also feels healthier because I think this is much less harsh. I just spray it all over and blow-dry. I would say you definitely need to get a good purple shampoo to tone out any brassiness. I use Aveda Blue Malva system and it works wonders. Between this product and the purple shampoo/conditioner, you can skip the salon and save so much money!

Works OK with hair dryer instead of sun
I used the Sun Bum Hair Lightener along with the heat from my hair dryer to lighten my hair. Where I live the sun doesn’t come out a whole lot, so the hair dryer was my best bet. After 5 uses I did notice a difference, however it wasn’t as dramatic as I would have hoped. I’m hoping to try it in the sun on my next day spent out in the sun/heat, but for now I’m fairly happy with the results so far.

Highly recommend this product, it smells lovely and it definitely makes the hair lighter with regular use. The only problem I have noticed is that it can dry the hair out a little bit, but nothing a good conditioner won’t be able to fix. I always go back to this product and it saves me so much money than going to a hairdressers!

YES, it does lighten, but do not use if you don’t want yellow/orange/gold/brassy. I have dark blonde/medium brown hair that lightens naturally in the sun. I’m used to being a cooler blonde. This made my hair so orange/brassy! Hundreds of dollars in salon costs later and my hair is finally somewhat non-trashy looking. ONLY USE if you have SUPER LIGHT hair already, or if you don’t care if your hair is brassy!!!! No blue/purple shampoo will help.

i really didn’t like the darkness of my hair, so i bought sun bum! i love it. it made my hair so much more lighter and in such a short time. the picture included was after one day that i was in the sun. i love this product, but i wish the product was bigger. amazing i will keep using until my hair reaches a dirty blonde color, (if that’s possible lol)

I bought this product to lighten my roots as I got some highlights that got really light over the summer and although in a natural datk/ash blonde, next to the highlights my roots looked sooo dark so I decided to try it after reading good reviews and I LOVE it! I’m only a couple of applications it really lightened my roots and blended them in with the rest of the hair! I think it helped that my hair is naturally some kind of blonde and I did go in the sun. It smells so good too. I’ll buy again as it saves me so much money from having to get roots done at the salon! (See before and after pics!)
