I like the a lot more then my 2 ultrawides. Higher refresh rate is very noticeable, they were a bit small but I have gotten use to them and I am ordering another to have a triple monitor setup. Would 100% recommend for a casual gamer.

Bought this for an Xbox series s and it’s done great so far, love the quick response time. It’s got a great adjustable stand for the monitor (tilt, height, swivel etc…HDR 10 support, up to 144 hz refresh rate, and amd freesync which provides very smooth crisp graphics. Only complaint is that they don’t offer it in a higher screen resolution bit that’s just being nit picky lol.

Ok, no cap (lie) this monitor is amazing. I was not one to believe that a frame rate could improve my fps performance, but it truely does. When I see people on the screen slowly running around and Shooting them. I think that use to be me. I’m not magically dying anymore. When I get sniped or gunned down. I can see it happen not lagging and then i’m dead. I’m going to buy another one to match this one. Pay no attention to my gaming desk I have a new one…that was small and clutter is real..lol

Note: In my photos, this monitor is the one on the left.
Excellent value and performance. I bought this monitor to be a second display on my desk to pair it with my 32” WQHD main monitor. 24” is the perfect size for the space I had available on my desk. In addition, the pixel density happens to match the pixel density on my 32” monitor almost exactly. 24” is a great size for a FHD display. Any bigger, and the screen gets noticeably pixelated.
Anyway, this monitor ticked off a lot of boxes including being the right size for my needs. I also wanted a G-Sync compatible gaming-ready IPS display. It also has 10-bit color up to 165 Hz. It’s HDR400 certified. It’s incorrectly specced by the manufacturer at 250 nits but it achieves around 400 nits in both HDR and SDR in independent testing. I specifically wanted an HDR capable monitor. This delivers. I don’t know if my uploaded images will retain their HDR format, but if you look at my photos on an HDR capable smart phone, you will see that this Acer Nitro monitor has brighter than SDR specular highlights in HDR mode. I could not distinguish a difference to the naked eye between its picture quality and the picture quality of my much more expensive 32” monitor which can achieve 466 nits tested peak HDR brightness and has a wider tested color gamut. But to my untrained naked eye, I don’t see a difference between the Acer Nitro and my main display which costs more than twice the price. Of course, HDR quality will not reach premium 4K HDTV levels as it definitely has higher black levels, and the lower contrast ratio of IPS panels, but it’s got a beautiful picture along with a decent color gamut, and a very wide viewing angles.
I’ve connected my 4K Google TV to it so that I can watch HDR10 content. PC browsers and apps, in an effort to thwart pirating, will not display HDR content and limit playback resolution to either 1080P or 720P. Even though the monitor is only full HD resolution, HD HDR10 content looks great on it and compares to other HDR400 monitors that I’ve seen. Better than watching the same content in SDR, and much better than the HDR experience on budget TVs.
I’m very satisfied with my purchase so far. I’ve only had it for two days so it I can’t attest to its durability, but I’ve got zero complaints so far. I’m thinking of buying one for my wife. She has a 46” desk and a laptop equipped with a 90W RTX 2060. Her GPU is better suited for FHD gaming than gaming at higher resolutions and her desk is too small to clutter with a larger monitor. For someone with a smaller desk, this monitor is a good fit. Also, anyone that has a GPU that’s at or below an RTX 3060 or equivalent, I recommend an FHD display over WQHD or 4K for better frame rates. If this matches your use case, this is the monitor for you.
