I wasn’t quick to write a review as I wanted to see how they tested over a week of use. I typically don’t eat out much, given the current pandemic. I find myself cooking almost all my meals at home. I have used this 8’in pan about twice a day. Morning (breakfast) and evening (Dinner). I also bought the 10′ pan and 12′ wok that was delivered around the same time.

Let me say after the first couple of days I started to notice that my food would start sticking to the pan. Right! I was thinking to myself after only a couple of days. being a “non stick” pan I thought perhaps I wasn’t using enough oil. which kind of defeats the purpose why I bought them in the first place. I thought maybe I got a “defective product”. But, I have another two to test so who knows. I pretty much tell myself to NOT consider it a non stick pan or a very limited non stick.

My eggs for breakfast completely stick to the pan without a lot of oil or if i scramble them on low heat there surprisingly still ends up a layer stuck to the pan. I don’t use the 10′ in twice a day, usually bring that bad boy out for dinner meals. So I’m thinking of giving it more time before I come to a conclusion, It seems to be on the same path however.

What i will say, is they look sexy as heck, heat up quick which is nice and the handle does not get hot.

they pretty much sell a set that includes 8′, 10′ and two 12′ (one pan and a wok with same size) but i bought them separate because i wanted to swap out and have two 8′ pans instead of two 12′ ones.

Would I recommend them: if you tend to be heavy with oil or if you want a nice looking pan to display.

NOTE: 02/17 i updated my rating from 1 to three stars. maybe i was being a tad hard on these guys. I do use more oil then i’d like. But, they do the job. If you have the money just go hard and buy the expensive ones. if you’re on a budget. They will do.

For the price I paid for this set, I am truly disappointed. It claims to be non stick and while it is for some food, it is not non stick if you are making eggs. Every time I use any of the pans to cook simple eggs with some butter, the eggs just get stuck in the honeycomb grid. I have to scrape them off with a wooden spatula. I contacted the company and they couldn’t tell me why. They told me to send it back. I am not happy. You shouldn’t claim that a product is non stick unless it is truly non stick. Also, you should have a way to contact the seller via Amazon, not by providing an email address or a non 800 phone number.

These pans are so worth it. The textured surface helps prevent sticking but is easy to cook on. I still use some oil for seasoning but food just slides around like marbles.

The thing I like most is how large the pan is. It is big enough to cook a lot of food. Shrimp and grits for 10+ people was a non issue. The lid fits securely, but not air tight, plus the vent hole allows some to escape but still capture the heat.

The large pan is very heavy when compared to my other pans but it is actually good because the pan stays put and doesn’t slide around.

The textured bottom also helps keep it in place on our gas stove.

I like that the handles were already assembled and secured. I have had other pans that required me to self assemble but with these heavier pans, I feel more confident that it was done ahead of time.

Cleaning was easy and things just wipe off, but wet foods needs soap.

Overall, very happy with this set and they look very professional.

This wok has a non-stick coating with a FANCY design which is RAISED on the interior surface. You need to be super careful when cooking and cleaning with this wok. You could easily accidentally scrape off the fancy design if you aren’t careful. And I know you’re buying this wok partly because it’s pretty! Otherwise you’d buy a basic carbon steel + wood wok. Thus, avoid using metal spatulas and other metal tools in order to preserve the aesthetic design. Also, sometimes it can be HARD TO CLEAN the wok because food may hide behind the fancy design bumps. My sponge will miss stuck-on food, so I’ll need to hit it from multiple angles. Cleaning is absolutely less convenient than a regular wok with a smooth surface.

Function-wise, it works very well as a non-stick wok. The two handles are perfect. The handle contour feels very comfortable in your hand. The solid weight prevents the wok from randomly sliding around, and the weight helps hold in heat. The lip of the wok is also curved outward which helps with pouring foods. The lid works-nothing to say there.
