I use this lock for an outdoor gate in a mostly shaded location in temperate SoCal weather. The lock itself is easy to set and easy to use and it feels sturdy enough for what I need it to do.
However, despite its claims of being waterproof, it is now definitely showing signs of rust after having been used for about 17 months. That said, I got a 2 pack and it was still kind of cheap so I will probably replace this lock with the 2nd one that I have just laying around when it inevitably stops being useful from the rusting a few more months from now.
Assuming each lock lasts 2 years outdoors, I guess ~$10 for 4 years worth of lock usage is OK. That said, I wouldn’t mind paying more if it got me truly weather resistant metal just so I don’t have to go through the hassle of replacing locks every couple years.

Best ever lock, really strong and hasn’t rusted yet. Easy to use (ok it did take me a little bit to figure it out & then it clicked (literally) and I realised how stupid I’d been, it really is simple. Really like the 4 digit combo, as it feels like extra security for my garden shed & gates.

I’ll start off with saying I like the lock and will continue using it for the gym. However, this lock is incredibly easy to crack. I am by no means a locksmith, an expert on locks, or anything like it. If it is locked and pull down with slight pressure while working the tumblers top number to bottom number you can have it cracked in less than 15 seconds. Each time you hit the right number the lock will release slightly down. When that happens you know you got the right number, so move to the next tumbler. It’s unnerving really. But it’s enough to keep the honest people honest I guess. Looking back I would have gone with a traditional combination lock, but here we are.

Idk why some people said these were cheaply made. It’s made of complete metal, & feels of nice quality. I love that you can set your own code- the directions say don’t scramble your dials immediately after setting; I feel like most problems are likely from user error (which I feel like most reviews are). Read the directions! Also-another review said it was “rusting outside after months” idk I feel like even rust resistant things end up rusting unless it’s like oxidized or something. I’ll update if that ever happens. I’ll mainly use them for a gym locker/bike.

Actually, it is a little bit larger than what I suppose. But it is really nice locker in gym, super easy to luck and unlock. Combination pack in such good price, good deal.

I was in need of a lock, and when I set out to buy one this is one of the ones that caught my eye. I didn’t really feel like carrying around a key that I might possibly lose/forget, however I did not want to deal with the annoyance of those locks with knobs that you spin around. So when I saw this lock, just a simple 4 dial lock that you set numbers onto I knew this was the one I wanted, the included instructions were super easy to understand and made the process of setting your own combination really simple. I personally use mine for my locker at work and it works exactly as it’s intended to and at a good price. I would definitely recommend this product.

So far weatherproof and work as expected. If you keep the number secure I believe they are more secure than a conventional padlock.

The combination locks are a little larger that I imagined. But soon I found they are very easy to read and easy to set. Operation has been smooth and consistent. They feel heavy, sturdy and well made. Overall, very pleased!

This is a nice lock for my work locker. It’s a nice red color that is easy to spot. It’s easy to set and easy to dial and unlock. Definitely a good deal.

This product lasted 3 weeks before all the numbers have jammed together and the wheels can’t be separated. I’ve tried everything but I’m going to have to buy some massive bolt cutters and cut it off my shed. Very frustrating.

I had a traditional master lock but unfortunately I forget the combination. Even more unfortunately I couldn’t reset the old one so I have to buy a new one. After searching, I got this, instead of the master lock. It came as a surprise actually. It looks different from others in the lockers room. And it is super easy to set up and to unlock. Convenient and firm. Better than the traditional master lock!
