I really like the big screen however the one part that I was a little bit disappointed was by the quality of the cover for screen. I wanted something a little more quality and a little more clear kind of like the Surface Book but this one is a little bit less money so I guess that’s the trade in. Other than that it works just as good as any Windows computer.

This device was very nice upon purchase. I kept this device for about two weeks, but later returned it due to issues with the internet connection. Unfortunately, the laptop experienced delayed website loading, streaming, and responsiveness. I did fall in love with the price, size, and quality initially, but this laptop was not a good fit for me.

I bought the Lenova Ideapad 3 17″ I5 on the spear of the moment because it was in stock as a back up so I could keep working as an engineer remotely during the Covid work from home situation, when the Geek expert needed time to fix my 17″ HP ENVY I7. I never quickly bought a lap top before. The set of or the Lenova was very easy but I was disappointed at how much slower a laptop with an Intel I5 processors is compared to my I7. But it was an adequate back up while my HP was in for repairs. Fortunately the Geek Squad was able to get my HP back to me in only 3 days so I am back to full operation condition. I am keping the Lenono in case I or the wife ever need an emergency back up again. But as a power user I will never again do a quick buy with out the usual deep dive I do into a computer’s performance specs and will make sure I always get a top of the line laptop instead of a lower grade model.

So far so good. I love the size and everything about this ideapad. Although advertised for having a 9hr battery life it has been less than that. Even with it fully charged. Other than that I love it.

It’s really large + clumsy. Had 2 buy an adjustable, lay in bed table tray desk top, so I could b comfortable using it.

Overall a good performing laptop. It does what I need it to do without hesitation. I can run multiple apps with no issue.
My only complaint was the 1TB Hard-drive it came with. That was the only performance bottleneck it had. I made an image, and swapped it out with my Samsung Evo SSD from my old laptop. Installed Samsung magician and am running rapid mode now. The laptop now takes no time at all to boot and start running applications.
I do recommend this laptop. The quality is pretty good for the price, but I think a slightly smaller SSD drive for the performance gain is worth it. Also doesn’t hurt to bump up the memory a bit.

Computer has a slow start up and lags moving from site to site. Also charging cord has a large plug in for acc outlet which takes up two outlet spaces. Plug in wants to fall out of plug in due to size and weight.
