I am not basing this review off of my latest purchase. I’ve only had that phone for over a week, and have not dropped it yet. But I will say this about OtterBox when I had it for my Motorola Turbo… I dropped that phone from a 2 level scaffolding, and my phone survived (there was dirt below, but still). Ladders too. I had dropped it numerous times on the pavement, and my phone still worked. My husband and kid purchased others, and ended up breaking their screens. So yep, I will be a life long customer of this brand to protect my phone.

I’ve had otterboxes completely wrecked and they still protect my phone’s. Don’t bother with their screen protector though. The case is the only thing worth it. Get Zagg for a screen protector.

We use it for our son who is 11 and just go this first phone. He has already dropped it three times and amazing nothing is broken on the phone. The case a couple of scuffs already but that is what the case like this is for, protect the phone.

A very sturdy case that WILL protect the phone from just about anything that could reasonably happen to it. Two piece design with a shock absorbing rubber inner layer and a hard outer layer. holds together very well. should protect my sons phone from my son.

Great case. Only complaint is the USB port cover pushes down on the charging cable when you release it to charge the phone. This will cause the port to become loose and stop working over time.
I cut mine off with scissors and otherwise it’s a great protective case.

OtterBox makes some of the best heavy duty cases available. This case is no exception. I work outdoors doing irrigation work and rely on the case to keep my expensive phone in good condition because I will invariably drop and knock my phone around every week if not every day. It is slightly bulky, but that is what you are getting when you buy a heavy duty case like this.

My second experience with OtterBox, and not disappointed. The fit is perfect for my phone. I do wish they had the Defender Series available for my phone when I bought it, but I am still very satisfied. I love that it has the silicone cover to wrap the phone in an impact-resistant cover and then the hard plastic outer shell that further protects my phone from damage. Only complaint (and not one I’m willing to reduce my star count over) is that it doesn’t allow me to easily hit the edges of my screen. My phone allows for a full screen experience and the OtterBox’s raised edge (which does a GREAT job of protecting the screen) makes it difficult to reach that edge with my fingers.

Every part of this case feels well made, from the soft inner case to the hard outer shell. It’s tough and resilient and it’s amazing to hold in your hand. The only gripe I have about this case is that it makes gesture navigation practically impossible in android 11 and up. If you have smaller fingers it won’t be so much of an issue but for people with big fingers and 1 handed users, you’ll have some difficulty with the back gestures.
