Love this purse. It’s small so I wouldn’t use it for my daily bag but it’s perfect for when I don’t want to carry around a big heavy purse. I love to go to antique shops and lots of stores don’t want you to carry a big bag to avoid bumping into items that are breakable. This is perfect in that situation. Also a great “gambling bag” since i don’t carry a big bag into a casino. LOL Love the color and the wonderful leather. I own another larger Frye bag and they are both excellent quality.

Although this is a beautiful bag, I returned mine. The quality is top of the line and the color is beautiful. The bag is smaller than it appears on the model. That was the reason I returned it. If you prefer a slightly smaller bag this is stunning.

As pictures speak thousand words and video another thousand I made a short video review of this purse. The color is not brown, it’s more mustard brown and it’s very pretty. There is no zipper closure or any closure other than a string. Since both purse and the string are made out of leather it is very difficult to pull the string because of the traction that happens between the purse and the string. Inside is one single compartment with small fabric pocket with a zipper closure. The pocket is too small for my iPhone plus series. Shoulder strap is adjustable and the purse can be worn cross body style or single shoulder. Craftsmanship is superb though. I expected so much more from this purse and couldn’t wait to receive it. As you can tell I am quite disappointed especially with this price point. You can put couple small things inside but you can’t even secure it. The purse is too small to add separate insert with the zipper. I find it very unpractical and extremely overpriced. This may be a famous brand maybe but I don’t see value or beauty in this purse.

I got this bag/purse for my wife thinking that it must really be something at a price like this. Wow was I wrong. To my disappointment, my wife has not used it once since she got it. The reasons are several:
– Tiny: My hand is nearly as big as this bag. Definitely seems much smaller in real life than what was pictured online. This size makes it very impractical for everyday usage.
– Stiff Leather: The leather is not what I’d expect for this price. It’s quite stiff. It seems like it should be much softer and more luxurious. Maybe it would get softer with usage, or maybe it could benefit from a good dose of mink oil to soften it up.
– 1 Interior Pocket: The inside of this bag/purse is just 1 large compartment. With the exception of a tiny zippered pocket inside, you pretty much just chuck everything in this bag. Good luck keep everything organized. Not gonna happen.
– Lack of Security: The cinch mechanism with the leather cords only works so good. It’s not as secure as being able to zip the bag/purse shut. Since the leather is so stiff, even operating the cinch mechanism is not easy.
– Overpriced: This bag/pursue is not a good value. It definitely fell short of my expectations, and the fact that my wife has not even used it once tells me that she thinks the same.
Keep looking. You can do much better than this.
