First time purchase from this product brand and I was sceptical and almost deleted the items at checkout. Having said that, I’m thankful I didn’t, because these are fantastic pants. The comfortable, flexible, fabric feels great and the size, both waist and length are just perfect. I’m confident I have found my go-to brand for Pants from Lee via Amazon.

Are you big boned, as a child was Husky your designer of choice, have you ever used the term ‘its glandular’… are you fat? Then these pants are for you!

Only pair of pants I can recall in a long time that several people commented on… nice pants, I haven’t seen that as- in a long time. I immediately went out and bought 3 more pairs. Have I sold you yet?!

Ok, now here is the odd part. Pants look good, the material looks fine. The material is also stretchy. Yes, these pants are a hybrid of maternity and Habband Old Man Pants! BUT, don’t run away yet. Through hours of toiling in a lab, scientists have somehow perfected elactisity in fabric to NOT look like old man pants.

Try these, ask a trusted friend how they look. Amazon has a great return policy; but if you are like me you will be ordering more for your wardrobe.

As a large, tall man with extremely large thighs and calves, I found these pants fit perfectly. I like the way the legs are tapered, its just enough to not look like boot cut jeans. The waist is very comfortable, no belt was necessary. I recommend these pants to anyone that is bigger than just “big and tall”, because all of us big men know, big and tall is kind of a joke. These pants are legit though. I’m ordering my second pair in a different color and probably more in the future.

These Lee Extreme Comfort Khaki pants are made in Bangladesh. My order was sold and fulfilled by Amazon and shipped by UPS as part of a multi-item package. The pants are made from a 98% Cotton/2% Spandex material blend which Lee calls “active comfort fabric”. The blend has a soft feel with a very slight stretch from the Spandex component. The pants have two diagonal side seam pockets and two horizontal open back pockets. It has a zipper fly with a single button closure on the waist. They have a flat front design so there are no pleats on the front. The back pockets are made from a thin cotton cloth; however, the side pockets are made from a slick mesh weave material. Even though the advertising calls the front pocket material “athletic mesh knit pocketing”, the term “mesh” only refers to the weave pattern which is a tight crosshatch with no openings in the knit. I am not sure why the pants were made with a material difference between the two. I measured the inseam and waist and then washed the pants in warm water followed by a medium tumble dry. When I remeasured, there was very little shrinkage with the inseam and waist being about a 1/2″ smaller. The leg opening remained 19 inches as advertised.

Even though the advertising states that the pants have an “athletic flex waist”, these are not stretch jeans or stylish sweatpants. They only have a very slight stretch in the waist from the 2% Spandex. The pants are tailored to a straight fit design which, as you probably know, is between a relaxed fit (a lot of material in the seat and crotch for a big butt) and a skinny fit (fairly tight in the seat and around the legs). I have a wide waist and short legs with very little butt so relaxed fit pants are way too big in the seat and look baggy on me. Skinny style pants tend to fit me well but invariably shrinkage causes some tight areas. These straight fit pants are a good compromise. They are a bit large in the butt but still are a fairly good fit for my body type. So, keep in mind if you have a big butt these pants will probably be tight in the seat. I am happy with my purchase…five stars.

Finally big boy pants that don’t fit incredibly awkward. They are very very comfortable without being oddly shaped. The legs are not ballooned out, the crotch isn’t restrictive and you can actually work in these. I wish they offered more than khaki and black. I’ll update as they break in; but initially very impressed.

I got my pants earlier than expected so that was great until I opened them up and see a rusty color stain on them they were in plastic packaging so I don’t even know how this can happen anyway I haven’t tried them on check for size just know that if you buy these you may get stains on brand new clothes

Update from May, 2020, after over a year of daily wear: I have a total of seven pairs in different colors that have been my daily workwear since February, 2019. Every pair has held up well, still looks nice and professional and is the regular rotation. The only problems any of them have are from two different snags on sharp metal office furniture corners (I still crawl under a lot of desks), but the strong, stretchy fabric kept both tears to a minimum and it hasn’t kept me from being able to wear them for work.

Original review from March, 2019: These may be the most comfortable pants of any design or style that I have ever worn. I now have four pairs of them in differing shades. They are super soft and stretchy.

I work in IT and am constantly crawling under desks to chase down computers and components. For a large guy wearing traditional khakis, this can lead to embarrassing rear cleavage or pants that have a tendency to split at the most humiliating time possible.

When wearing these, the waistband is so stretchy that it just stays put no matter how I bend or twist and they are so stretchy and comfy that I can’t imagine them splitting out. They really are as comfortable as a stretchy pair of athletic pants. It still amazes me every time I wear them.

The only downside for me so far is that they are far from wrinkle resistant. I would NEVER call them that. If you shake them out straight from a hot dryer and hang them right away, they are serviceably flat, but if you are very picky about wrinkles, you might need to iron these.

I like these pants very much, but do not measure your waist as I did when ordering the first pair. I truly do not understand what pant sizes have to do with actual body sizes, I measure a minimum of 46″ anywhere in my waist area. If you have been wearing stretchable pants order your usual size. The 44″ W sits just snug on me, but the waist will stretch out to accommodate a person at least one waist size larger. If you fear you might grow some (lol) these are for you, but it also makes them very comfortable to wear.
