The Dehydrator is exactly as advertised. It came pretty quick for a prime member. Everything functions as described and is so easy a kid could do it. Works great! The book that comes with it is all you need. You can go online also and get free recepies for jerky, etc. I use it to make dog treats, whole lot cheaper than buying them at the store! I highly recommend this model for anyone that loves jerky!

We followed 5 different recipes, to the letter, the jerky comes out with plastic taste in it, and nothing like the real jerky.

Very nice looking food dehydrator. I’ve had it for a month now and have used it for only fruit so far. I’ve experimented with apples, blueberries and bananas. It comes with an insert mat for smaller fruits, nuts so they wont fall through which is convenient. Most of the fruit did stick to the trays on the first try so I sprayed it on the second use. Very nice item.

did 1 run through for a small batch of beef Jerky. Temp was good & the timer helped.
UPDATE #1: I’ve run 3 batches of jerky through it. Each time I’m loving the digital controls and the easy of use of moving trays around through the dehydration cycle. I’m very happy with this machine.
UPDATE: I’ve run 5 batches of jerky through this item– still works great!

This dehydrator is Amazing!!! Easy to move being so light. Made beef jerky with it done in 4 hours. Also made dried fruit. Love the fact it turns off when done. I’m busy chasing kids around and dont have time to check it. The only downside it the door make sure it is closed all the way. It kinda catches on the side. Love the window you can see clear thru. So you dont have to open like the round ones.

Just arrived. Marinated 5-6 lbs thin cut sirloin 2 days prior. Works great. Not as fast as an oven due to max high temp of 158F. But much easier than using oven and i placed unit outside to reduce heat within home.
Very quiet fan. About 8-9 hours for all. Trays cleanup quick soaked in hot soapy dish water and brush.
All n all a worthwhile purchase

If you are wondering if you should spend the extra dollars for this model, as compared with cheaper brands, do it. The timer is essential so you can customize the temp and the time of your drying cycle. This unit dried fruit twice as fast as an older model I used and was much more precise. I love it and processed about 3 gallons of cherries. I like to store my dried fruit in the freezer and I spray the trays with non-stick cooking spray before laying the fruit down. It not only helps in cleaning up, but the fruit has a more pliable texture.

I decided to start making my own jerky and a dehydrator sounded like a good idea. This one is kinda cheap and has a decent amount of settings. Having a digital timer and temperature setting is fantastic! You just set it and forget it. I do find that I have to leave the jerky in a little bit longer than it should because the door seems like it is cheaply made, resulting in some heat loss. It has a drip tray at the bottom which works out well considering the tray design. Clean up is a breeze, everything is plastic so nothing sticks, you just wipe it down and you’re good to go!

I am a professional chef and bought this item for home/personal use.
Does not work as a dehydrator should!Fan turns itself off during set time . This lack of continuous airflow creates an ideal environment for mould and bacterial growth. Have had visible mold grow on things while trying to dehydrate.
This product is completely unuseable and garbage. Do not buy!

I bought this for the great reviews. I’ve been using it almost non-stop for days.
I realize each food will vary with time and temp; but using their guide in the instructions does not produce dehydrated food. I have fresh from my garden basil. It suggests herbs go in for 100-115 degrees for 4-6 hours. I did that twice. Now I put it in for 10 more hours- total of 18 hours so far, all at 115 degrees. You’ll see from the photo that the basil is still damp and no where near storage ready.
I have had the same experience making diced hot pepper and sage. Very disappointing.

I needed something to dry my filaments. This worked out great. I can stuff 5 rolls of 1kg rolls in the unit after taking out all the trays. Took my filaments from 30% moisture to 15% in a couple hours. Get this dehydrator instead of those filament dryers. This gets so much hotter, the filament dryers only get up to 40c. Its so easy to use with the simple sensored buttons and magnetic door. Very quiet too.

A must have unit for anyone who owns a 3d printer.

This costs twice as much as those round stackable units but holds 5 rolls of filament vs 2.

I throw a bunch of dry packets inside and use it as a filament storage too.

Probably works really well making jerky too😅

First item I tried were Basil Leaves which were all placed as individual leaves. It was supposed take 4- 5 hours. I left them in for at least 8 hours and they were still not dried.
