I bought this because the CD player in my 07 escalade doesn’t work and wanted to be able to play music that I wanted to play instead of radio stations all the time.
The unit itself functions as it’s supposed to. I recommend using the app with it. It’s easier to scan stations that way. My issue with it is the sound quality. I’m sure for alot of vehicles it would sound ok. My escalade has a Bose system in it and it shows the limitations of this unit. Which I can’t say you would expect this unit to sound super hi fi but…blue tooth connection makes it sound terrible. Distortion in the high end and very little bottom end. I use power amp music player on my phone which has a 10 band eq. Still can’t fix the sound. And it’s not the radio station I’m on because I can pause the music so it’s just dead air and the empty station is coming in clean. I understand it’s not going to be super duper. But the distortion makes it unlistenable.
When you use the mini sd card slot the sound improves greatly. Proving it’s the limitations of the units bandwidth on its Bluetooth. Sd would be great but….if you have a few CDs on it you can’t just see folders and select song album. You have to skip each Individual track which takes forever and you can’t keep looking at it while driving to see what song it’s on.
Over all because sd cleans the sound up alot. But still not perfect. And the joke of the sound quality from Bluetooth it gets 3 stars. I’m sure on a lower quality sound system it might sound ok.
Unit has a aux port that’s the size of a headphone jack. It’s a output. YouTube reviews say this is the best way to plug it into you dash unit for quality. But…if you unit has this input. Wouldn’t you just connect you phone directly if it has a headphone jack?
It’s junked in my console until there’s a day I’m sitting waiting on someone to have time to skip each track on the sd card

I wanted to be able to talk or call from my phone as well as charge it , in my car, in case of emergency, which meant I had to connect a transmitter. I found this one online and picked it up curbside. The Best Buy agent there was very helpful I had to ask a 13 yr old to set it up for me, but after he did, it works perfectly, making my 16 yr old car up to date. It is fully adjustable too.

Best $25 I ever spent. Does exactly what it says. Plug it into your cigarette lighter, turn on your FM radio and it automatically scans for an open FM station. Tune your radio to the corresponding station, pair up your device and instant music that you pick. Doesn’t get any easier than that.

Everything is amazing with the Anker. At first some stations would have a lot of static noise coming with the music you would play and when the music would stop playing, all you hear was static. It would get annoying so I kept searching for new stations and eventually I found one and I haven’t had the static noise since. So if you have that problem, don’t give up on it. Just keep looking, it’s a really good investment and amazing device. I am very happy with it.

I really want to give this 5 stars as it saved the day for me. i can’t because it doesn’t work anymore in the LA area. I acquired a 2003 Honda which doesn’t allow a simple swap out for the car stereo and also doesn’t have modern features like bluetooth or hands free calling. I was dubious about getting an FM transmitter because i thought the sound quality would suck but surprisingly the sound quality was great. For two weeks or so. i had hands free calling and could listen to anything that I wanted to stream from my phone. And then all of a sudden the FM dial became so clogged with radio stations that there was no longer any way to get an open frequency. if you aren’t in Orange County or Los Angeles you will love this thing. It can save you lots of aggravation and money by adding bluetooth features to your older car stereo. Where I live though, there are too many radio stations and it won’t function without some dead airspace somewhere along the dial. A real bummer since it had been working so well.

I love this ROAV Bluetooth transmitter it works great on my 1997 Lexus. Sound is crystal clear as long as the station you are on is not in use by a real radio station. That’s the only time you get slight ambient noises coming from the frequency’s. Other then that the app works well and the product is very easy to use. I would recommend this to anyone who has adequate OEM speakers in their vehicle who would rather keep their stock system instead of paying a bunch for a whole aftermarket set up.
    Sound is clear
    Easy to use
    App actually works
Voice calling and Siri are also supported and work well.

It does what it promises, although I frequently get static and interference despite optimizing my fm stations. Charging works great even for an 11 Pro Max. My wife has a different version from the same company, but hers doesn’t suffer the same static issues.
