UPDATE: HAVE USED IT 7 MONTH NOW AND I NOW GIVE IT FIVE STARS FOR QUALITY AND FUNCTION. POOR INSTRUCTIONS REMAIN SAME THO.
Just got this today. Well made sturdy item. The voice recording was cool. Accuracy was kinda off…I kept playing with portion sizes and it varied by a portion or two. Not too bad once all the meals were served. Major con was the instruction for setting the programmed meals. Talk about lack of instructions…spent an hour setting and resetting until I realized the very initial setting after the clock setting was what determines how many meals you can set afterwards. When the word “meal” FIRST comes up, make sure you press the up arrow until it shows all 1234 (if you wanted 4 total). That determines how many you can program. If you miss this step and think you can press “1” and do one meal setting at a time, you might as well cry and spend an hr like me wondering where the other three meal settings disappeared to. Directions say to hold down “setting” button to lock in your settings but that is only at the END when you are all done with all the meals. The directions made it seem like you do one at a time and then set. Once it is set, it is done. If you make a mistake, there is no backtracking. Reset and start over. If this works as set, then my cat will still be alive when I return from my trip… will update in a month.

I put off getting an auto feeder for quite some time. Eventually the incessant yelling for food day and night hit a tipping point where I had to take the plunge. We have two cats, both about eight years old so they’re used to the yelling.
Since they both have different feeding requirements (one is very large) I purchased two of these units (hence putting off the purchase for so long). One is inside a custom built enclosure that the larger one cannot get into. It took a few days for them to adjust but its pretty much stopped. The large one still yells on occasion for a bit but its becoming more rare. Overall, a massive turn around from what it used to be.
The units themselves are surprisingly sleek. These are cheaper then most of the auto feeders on the market so I was skeptical of the quality. When they arrived I was taken aback by the packaging and how they look. They look modern and clean, definitely not an eye sore.
You can set up two four feeding times, I use all four. 0600, 1200, 1800, 2230. You can even customize the number of portions per feeding which is great.
Overall, I’ve very happy with these and its one of the few purchases I don’t regret after using.

This pet feeder is sleek and modern looking, and easy to clean. All of the adjustments are easy to use, and the food is stored very well, pets cannot get into it. The dish is easy to disconnect and clean, and the canister is a great size for the dry food. Easily programmable portion control and timed feeding is exactly what we needed. I also appreciate the option to have it battery powered, or plugged in. The audio recording feature is revolutionary. If the audio feature is not needed or used, this feeder is fairly quiet as well. The feeding dish has an ergonomic design and our cat finds it easy to eat from. Our cat is one to meow when hungry so this product having four different times to feed is helpful. We have found our cat is adjusting to the programmed feeding times in a positive way. The desiccant filter option is also very helpful to keep dry food fresh, which can go stale. Regarding the audio feature, our cat has actually learned that when the audio goes off, it’s time to be fed, and comes immediately to the feeder, which is convenient when we are not home. We also enjoy the manual feed button on occasion. Overall, the customization with this product is very helpful, I am pleased and I would recommend this product to anyone with a pet! 5 stars!

If you go on trips you need to invest in an automatic feeder as your back up! since buying it I am pretty impressed on the design on this one.
Pros:
1. The cat dish is wide and deep so that kibble does not fall out easily when cats are eating like other feeders I’ve tried.
2. The lid is quite secure. My cats have tried to nudge and open it but with no success.
3. If you put batteries it will last a looong time so you don’t always have to keep it plugged in.
4. Easy to clean, just take the bowl off and wipe it with a cloth. You can also clean the opening quite easily.
Cons
1. The screen is a bit small so it’s not as convenient to look at unless you peer at it, but I have to say once you set your schedule you shouldn’t need to look at it much.
Overall, a great buy.

Okay, so I took a little effort to figure out the menus as the instructions are limited, but after the initial learning curve it was easy. We have a cat who meows in our bedroom around 6:15 every day, as she believes THIS is her breakfast time. I feed her dry food in the morning, and wet food at night. I have the PetLibro set up to dispense 2 portions at 6:15 am, and 3 more portions (for a total of about 1/4 cup) at 6:45 am. No more meowing in the morning, AND no more puking up breakfast because she inhaled it! A double-win for me. We have a second PetLibro set up outside for our bunnies (we have two). I have one meal set for 6:30 am, with 5 portions (about a 1/4 cup) and that takes care of their morning feeding. Since we have water jugs in both locations, mornings are now a piece of cake! We had to devise a PVC pipe system to hide the cord on the outside bunny feeder as they will chew the wire if they can get their teeth on it, but this was pretty simple. I thought about using just the batteries for the outside feeder, but wasn’t sure if this would work long-term, as so rigged the PVC pipe and installed the back-up batteries, as recommended. I can put WEEKS of food in these, since they are only feeding once a day. Love them!

My family LOVES this pet feeder!!!♥️♥️♥️ We have 2 kitties & this awesome device makes feeding them twice a day sooo easy!!!😻😻This device is super Easy to set up and works great to schedule feedings for my kitties!!!😻. It’s great to be able to leave for a weekend or longer and not worry at all about how I’ll feed them. I don’t need to find someone to come by and make sure they’re being taken care of now. The pet feeder came with easy to follow set up instructions. Easily programmable portion control and timed feeding. I also really like the option to have it battery powered, or plugged in. Although, I think the battery power should only be used as a backup in case of a power outage. The audio recording feature is great let’s my pet know that its meal time. Quiet design other wise. Our cat is very timid and had no issue adjusting to the feeder, which was a big worry initially. The food dish disconnects making it easy to clean, and the canister is a great size for our needs. We have had the feeder for almost a month and would highly recommend this product to anyone with a pet! 5 stars! Wish we had bought one sooner !

That is all you need to know. Pistol Pete is an adorable feline however the 4 am wake up and feed me calls were getting old. He would gently tap our faces but if ignored he’d go to the bedside table and start swatting stuff onto the floor. Subtle.
The Petlibro automatic feeder is the perfect remedy; not just for those early am wake up calls but also to portion out the feedings. We give him dry food now 4x a day ; two 3-portion meals and two 1 portion snacks. He used to nag us throughout the day as if he had not been fed in weeks.
Only downside is he often sits vigil next to the feeder. Waiting… waiting…
PS at first he tried to tamper with it but the lid’s on pretty secure and plus I said No firmly. He’s let that go.
PSS how I read the display: I dislodge the feeding tray, pick up the feeder and put it on the counter; tip it gently back wards and voila the touch screen is fully visible. Again the lid is so snug not a chance it will fall off except maybe if you tip the whole thing upside down and shake it.

but i have reached out to the manufacturer because we are unable to get the unit to dispense food and have had no response by their support. until then the review will stand as is because the unit does not function as promised and the support outlined in the manual has not been as promised. do not buy this

I needed something to feed my cat in the mornings at 6AM that didn’t involve the cat meowing incessantly and me getting out of bed. This does exactly that, plus my daughter loves that she can put her voice in it to tell our cat the food is there. Took a bit of trial and error to get the right portion sizes but once you use it once navigating and updating the menu on the screen is very simple. Would recommend if you had the same problem as me or go away on vacation a lot.

I plan on going away for a couple of days, so I wanted to get my cat Rupert (@mycatrupert on insta) an automatic feeder. This one is great! First of all– the delivery was fast, and the price was reasonable compared to other automatic feeders. Second the seller gives you comprehensive instructions on how to set it up. It came with a voice function, which I don’t use–but that’s an extra feature. I also purchased the D batteries as backup in case there is a power outage, which is a great feature for me.
I think this is a great product if you’re trying to get your pet to lose weight. I can make micro (tablespoon) adjustments by reducing the number of portions he gets. Which is a bit more exact than guessing how much kibble he should be getting. I will eventually update if he does end up losing weight, but at least I know now that portions aren’t the problem since he gets the exact amount he needs each time.
