I bought this particular blender to make homemade baby food and purees for my little one.

Of course everyone wants to own a Vitamix, but not everyone can afford it—so we seek out the next best thing. I wanted a blender that wouldn’t take too much counter space, was easy to clean, and powerful enough to make purees and smooth liquid-like textures. Not to mention, easy on the wallet.

My first (regretful) purchase was a Ninja—I returned that thing a week later. It left un-pureed clumps!

So a NutriBullet was my next option.

Like you, the thing that sold me on this particular belnder was the 1700 watt power—you would think a stronger motor equals a more powerful machine. In this case, a stronger motor equals hot soup.

With regards to the usage, I guess anything you blend in this thing must include a liquid (also states that in the manual)

So if you’re making baby food, you must add distilled water or milk. If your making a smoothie or soup, you need to add milk, water or stock.

Minus one star for the necessary liquids.

Otherwise, everything comes out so smooth and my little one gobbles up every bite I puree. Bonus points on the soup-er-blend. The soups do come out really good and hot!!

I bought this six months ago, after my other Nutribullet died unexpectedly, and have been extremely happy with it! I’ve always said it’s a Nutribullet on steriods because it’s just a little bit bigger and more powerful than the other two Nutribullets I’ve owned. Love the bigger cups because I make a smoothie daily for my 2 year old son and I and the smaller cups weren’t big enough. It blends really well and never have had an issue with the smoothie being chunky.

Only negative is that it doesn’t always seem to suck the food from the bottom of the smoothie glass to blend it. I always have to start blending, then take the cup off and shake it so the food at the bottom can be blended. I still love the product, just wanted to mention it is one thing I have found as a negative.

It doesn’t matter if you clean it, there’s small holes that are impossible to clean in the back base of the blade and that leads to microbes and now worms, it’s so disgusting, I had to throw out what I was cooking since I didn’t know the worms got in the food too, I soaked it in chlorine, you can see it in the photo. This is the second time it happens and bought a new one but I won’t use it or buy it anymore is so disgusting. I had to eat out cos I felt like throwing out.

I originally wrote a horrible 1 star review of this product, but have since had a change of heart. I have had my NBRX for about a year. I have used it maybe 5 times max. The other day I decided to make a smoothie and well, the blender exploded! Apparently, the rubber gasket ring got sucked into the blender as it was going. I had read this was an issue previously online, so I am extra careful and always check to make sure the ring is secure in the blender bottom… Just goes to show it doesn’t matter how careful you are, this is a flaw in its design!

I went to the Nurtibullet website and registered a complaint. They called me the very next day. The CS rep was very nice and apologetic… AND…. they are sending me two totally new blender assemblies which have a permanent gasket that will not come off and won’t suck into the blender… I was so impressed by the CS I received, that it caused me to change my review to a 4 star rating… Hopefully I won’t have any further issues with it, but it seems that they are a company that stand behind their products.

The easiest, fastest blender I have ever used.

I own a Vitamix (was blessed to be given one as a gift) and while it’s amazing in its own right, this RX bullet is truly the thing that makes my mornings so easy. I can pack, blend, drink and clean up our morning shakes/smoothies/green monsters in less than 5 minutes. (We down our drinks pretty fast while the enzymes are fresh.)

    Very well made.
    Sturdy.
Shuts off on its own after it blends your drink.
    So easy to clean.
Doesn’t take up much counter space.

For anyone complaining that its loud…IT’S A BLENDER FOR PETE’S SAKE!

Keep an eye out for sales. This is around $200 but we snagged a brand new one during the holiday sale for $119. My mom paid the $200 and she said it was still worth it.

I’m so frustrated with this thing. I make smoothies almost everyday for breakfast. I purchased a new Nutribullet RX in May of 2016. It lasted about 8 months. Too much time had passed to return it either through Amazon or the Nutri bullet company. I need it, so i bought another one on May 20, 2017. Almost to the day, one year later, it broke, just stopped working. I have written the company asking to return it and get another one. and it’s too late to return it to Amazon. Apparently, they only ;last about a year. Poor craftsmanship, poorly made. Save your self money and buy another brand. Thumbs down…

My Top end nutribullet started leaking in the motor in 14 months and less than 15 times usage! I had hard time getting any service and when I got the service guy, he wanted to replace the blade for Rs 3500! My regular mixie blade hasn’t got spoilt for 10 years! About Rs 20000 down the drain!! Bad product, worse service!! DON’T BUY!!
