The tables appeared to be in good shape and was happy until four month after arriving a leg just snapped in half when just sliding it along the carpet. Nothing on top, just a gentle pull. Looking at the leg it appears the wood has either rotted or had a knot in is that make it weak. Very disappointed.

Great tables, they are a good size and are easy to collapse. However, the tables sont come with a stand so it makes it harder to store. Some of the lament is scratching off on the ends after a few uses. But the colour is great and will go with most furniture

I find them excellent (Wife likes them) My one complaint was the way the protective cover was installed prior to installation of the leg brackets. The plastic is under the brackets. Imagine my surprise when I checked our old trays we had had for 15 plus years with extensive wear and found the plastic was also under the brackets. They had been bought from a local outlet and were the same as these tables. Just hope the new ones last as long as the old ones.

I don’t know why I missed that these didn’t come with a stand. The table are extremely heavy but they are sturdy. Now my husband thinks they are so nice he don’t even want to remove the plastic because he’s afraid to damage the product. So I’m torn between the product looks good, it’s durable, and stable but the no stand is like dang I should have bought one with a stand to hold these heavy things.

Good quality item to replace a much cheaper set I bought about 10 years ago. These do all a tray table is supposed to do but I feel like I overpaid for what they are. We kept them because in fairness I could have shopped around more, and who knows, maybe I would not have found a better deal. I gave these 4 stars as they seem to be of good quality, time will tell.
Unpacking is a bit of a pain in the butt as you can scratch the wood if you are not careful, but, the plus is they are well packaged/protected for shipping so no negative points for that, just be careful while unpacking them.
May 2020: Five-ish years later and we still have the tray tables. They have served us pretty well in several capacities and even as nightstands for over a year till real ones appeared. This is probably obvious but they do NOT like water/moisture too long so wipe up your spills or it will absorb and the wood underneath will swell up and doesn’t look great. That however, is the users fault IMO so it’s not a mark against the tray tables.

Excellent quality tables. Very sturdy and already assembled. There is no stand but you do not need as the 4 tables already come assembled and you can fold them up. They are very well wrapped and will not be damaged during shipping for this reason. If you are looking for new tables as we were do not hesistate to purchase these.

These stands work great for everyday use. They are bulit from a heavy wood with a durable finish that has with stood main spiils.
They are not too heavy so easy to put away if need be and using daily. The tables fold up quickly for storage. The price point is worth what you receive from this product. I recommend buying these tables.

Despite the relatively low price, these tables are very substantial and sturdy. I use one as a support for my printer and one is permanently in front of my sofa, available when I watch TV when I eat dinner. It’s very handy to be able to pull out a table or two when I have extra guests for a meal. I wasn’t deterred by the descriptions of other purchasers who didn’t like removing the protective plastic – I didn’t worry about removing every bit, since the plastic which remained is on the underside of the tray top, and therefore totally unobservable.

I chose these for the size and color. They are nice but after using for a month, I noticed a chip on the edge on one tray.
UPDATE: I have had these 8 months. They are peeling and coming apart. They stain when anything warm is placed on them and this is a permanent water mark. The joints are breaking and coming apart despite trying to repair with wood glue. I am sorry i purchased them.

These came in great shape. Sturdy enough, nice color, fully functional for my needs plus a few new ones…BUT, the packaging on the table tops is INSANE! They assembled these tops to the legs without removing the wrapping first! To get this wrap off easily, you have to disassemble or at least, loosen the the whole contraption. So, since I didn’t want to do that, I pinched, bruised and maimed myself getting this table top wrap off with scissors and a seam ripper. So. Love the trays, hate the dumb wrapping.

It is not the best finish, but it is okay for what it is. I bought two of them. One was good. The other had one leg at least a 1/2 inch short so it has quite a wobble. So their quality control on it was lacking. I will have to make a piece and shape it, then glue on the end. What a hassle. Otherwise they are okay for the price.

Beautiful set, but did come damaged. Tops are wrapped to well. They wrapped them, then screwed the legs on top of the wrap. That made it very hard to completely remove it. The legs were not wrapped well and were damaged in shipping so I did return them.
Also a side note: The set does not come with a stand. I didn’t really care about having one, however many reviews seem to not be happy about that.
